The Challenge
E-commerce Marketing & Content Manager for GE Appliances e-commerce team is a key position within the Emerging Markets organization. This role is responsible for driving planning and execution towards catalog management, content strategy, and organic and paid marketing efforts to drive growth with Amazon and additional key e-commerce partners.

What you will Do

Essential Responsibilities

  • Drive GE Appliances Amazon catalog management with a focus on content quality and desired outcomes for customer and the business
  • Support new product introductions and launch marketing efforts on Amazon platform
  • Develop and manage the overall marketing plan & calendar at product category/brand level as well as across different marketing effort types
  • Establish content/SEO strategy and guidelines across GE Appliances brands and product portfolio and drive execution
  • Drive in-house marketing efforts and collaborate with external Amazon marketing services partner to drive execution of planned marketing strategies
  • Track and manage actual marketing spend against budgeted plans
  • Partner with GE appliances product line and brand teams to collaborate on marketing strategy definition, asset creation, and marketing plan development to deliver the targeted customer experience on Amazon platform and meet the channel, category and brand goals
  • Identify and share best practices with partner teams, drive education around marketing success drivers in e-commerce
  • Establish measures of success from Amazon marketing efforts (overall metrics and specific to marketing effort types), track and report performance against the metrics and leverage insights to inform future planning and execution



What you need to Succeed

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience to include the following areas: e-commerce content management, digital marketing (including SEO, SEM, email, and other marketing tactics) and marketing measurement and analytics
  • Experience working in an e-commerce/cross-channel retail or consumer products manufacturer environment
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and/or understand available analysis & reporting to generate and leverage insights
  • An understanding of consumer products e-commerce landscape, growth drivers, marketing strategies and success metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to own and drive efforts end to end and partner with cross-functional teams
  • Desired Characteristics
  • Amazon marketing experience in an Amazon retail partner or a marketplace seller environment
  • Collaborative approach to work and enjoy working as part of a team
  • Learner mindset, curiosity to ask questions and consistently learn and develop new skills
  • Structured & process-oriented approach to work with strong attention to detail
