Job Description
Zscaler seeks a strategic and a driven leader to ensure our ongoing success in the
financial services industry. This individual will drive Zscaler's worldwide strategy,
positioning and marketing initiatives to increase market share and revenue in targeted
sectors of financial services. This leader will collaborate excessively with Zscaler's
Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Sales leadership and other key stakeholders in
driving the overall Zscaler's go-to-market process and positioning & messaging.
The position requires a combination of strategic thinking, leadership and excellent
communication skills. This individual will build and drive Zscaler's strategy to prioritize
investments and drive alignment across high-performing, cross-functional teams to
ensure execution. Additionally, they must be able to roll up their sleeves and go deep
with customers or partners when necessary to drive desired business outcomes.
This is a high visibility position that will enable the right individual to take their career to
the next level by expanding and strengthening their general management skills in a fast-
paced environment for a hypergrowth cloud security company. You will create and
evangelize compelling and competitively differentiated global positioning and
messaging. You will deliver this positioning & messaging via value-based selling field
enablement assets and compelling marketing content and evangelize the value
propositions to relevant communities within and beyond Zscaler.
The ideal candidate enjoys challenging the status quo, taking initiative, and leading in a

Position Objectives :
In this individual contributor role, you will be part of a team that has global solutions
marketing responsibility for industries in financial services, manufacturing and health
care. Responsibilities will include:

  • Create compelling industry specific positioning & messaging content that is syndicated to field marketing, sales and business development teams via the marketing mix, including collateral, website, programs, campaigns, references and sales tools in creative digital formats
  • Model the way on communicating and delivering positioning & messaging, both internally within Zscaler and externally to the market
  • Support/drive integrated marketing strategy/plan and work with industry stakeholders as well as global demand centers and local marketing from planning through execution of programs
  • Provide communication leadership by promoting Zscaler's vision and direction into financial services, analysts and press via briefings, interviews, conferences, and events
  • Develop thought leadership platform unique to market and competitively
  • differentiated and position this internally and externally
  • Monitor and fine tune marketing programs to meet lead generation and pipeline objectives
  • Champion industry solutions to the global community and garner alignment of Zscaler stakeholders across marketing, sales industry value advisors, and alliances
  • Assist in providing a consolidated view of the market, identification of market needs and determining scope of the solution market opportunity, to serve as input to corporate strategy, joint business planning, product definition, GTM (go-to-market) themes and value-based selling assets


Qualifications

  • 8+ years in one or more areas: solutions/product marketing, field marketing, partner marketing or business development.
  • Strong domain expertise in financial services coupled with a deep knowledge of cloud, security, enterprise SaaS/software or networking.
  • Background in security, networking and cloud is strongly preferred.
  • Outstanding intellect, drive and interpersonal skills are paramount.
  • Proven track record of high-impact successes at an enterprise SaaS/software company or management consulting firm.
  • High sense of urgency and entrepreneurial work ethic required to drive business outcomes.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to address cross-functional and cross-organizational issues independently.
  • Experience with a large enterprise software sales force is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in building clear, effective PowerPoint presentations.
