When times get tough, Waldron says his team reflects on their mission to light the path forward. During the hardest days of the pandemic, when teachers and students struggled with remote learning, Curriculum Associates answered the call for help by expanding access to its i-Ready program by 2 million students and quickly spinning up hundreds of free reading and math packets to keep students on track with their educations.

A roadmap that centers its users
Getting companywide buy-in on its product roadmap isn't an issue for Curriculum Associates, because every new kick-off is the culmination of rich feedback and data collected from teachers. With these insights, the product team moves rapidly to build impactful tools, like the phonics lessons Pierce's team designed that allow students to learn at their own pace while receiving appropriate support from their teachers.
