Job Description

Join the Americas team at Zscaler and share your high energy and expertise as a Director Regional Marketing for East Region.
Responsibilities:

  • Build, lead and coach a high-performing team focused on driving scalable demand generation programs and experiences across segments and territories in region.
  • Own a marketing sourced pipeline target and develop a 2-4Q forward high-growth marketing plan that combines intelligence/data by accounts in region with key objectives, execution mix, results, and resource management.
  • Execute with excellence across core functional areas to deliver results in region including thought leadership and awareness; targeted account marketing; local demand generation programs and campaigns; and amazing customer experiences and events:
    • Drive local thought-leadership and/or third-party programs that increase awareness with key decision maker audiences across segment, working collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on the strategy, story, and placement.
    • Apply data driven intelligence, leveraging sales and marketing tools like SFDC, intent data, Tableau, and more to effectively target contacts and accounts along the buyer's journey.
    • Develop and execute innovative, targeted campaigns that inform, educate, and engage contacts within accounts to drive demos, meetings, and progression.
    • Strategically plan and execute scalable, value-add customer experiences and events in region that create speaking opportunities; engage customers across multiple personas/roles; and drive action in the journey. The mix can include digital series; Zscaler hosted engagements; third-party events; industry trade shows and conferences; CXO roundtables; partner events, user groups, and more.
    • Land regionally aligned channel and alliance GTM programs and experiences, aligned to the channel marketing and sales priorities in region.
    • Help build customer stories, use cases, and champion builder programs in GEO that evangelize our differentiation, value, and relationships.
  • Partner and build strong relationships internally and externally to create one Zscaler experience with the customer:
  • Partner closely with regional sales leaders to prioritize target accounts and build marketing plans and execution to increase engagement, new business meetings and pipeline.
  • Build effective stakeholder relationships across global marketing, GEO marketing, sales, channel, and alliances to share learning's, requirements, best practices, and drive for alignment.
  • Be an active member of the Americas and Extended Marketing Leadership teams. Share critical insights from the region to inform decisions. Represent the GEO as a subject-matter expert and business partner.
  • Track, measure and refine performance aligned to annual performance targets. Deliver updates and insights monthly. Analyze performance and trends to make recommendations for continuous improvement. Actively participate in performance reviews, QBRs, and
  • Deliver a regular communication cadence in GEO to inform, educate, and drive actions internally and externally.


Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of experience preferably in high-tech, high growth companies. Cybersecurity experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing and communications, business management or computer science.
  • Accountable for results and providing data and insights, with proven track record driving demand generation and growth
  • Ability to self-start while working remotely yet stay deeply integrated to the core team
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally across multiple teams and tracking priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Energetic and thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • Insatiable curiosity and desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to synthesize insights from multiple resources and perspectives to prioritize and put action in motion. The big answers almost never come from one source.
  • Profound spirit of team leadership, coaching and collaboration. We work as an integrated team building great relationships across the company. Able to build and grow team in region and connect with the broader team in a meaningful way.
  • Demonstrates strengths in planning, strategy, execution, and operations and how the funnel works and marketing's role in driving sourced pipeline contribution. Having a command of conversion, operation processes, ROI, and how to refine plans based on the data is key.
  • Ability to project and program management with exceptional organization skills that meets or exceeds goals, timelines, and budget.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills to communicate, influence, and effectively convey information at all levels of the organization
  • Tech savvy and proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SFDC, Marketo, Tableau, and other MarTech stack an advantage.
  • Post-pandemic: Willing to travel within territory approx. 25% of the time
