Job Description:
The Opportunity
Pluralsight is seeking a cloud-focused Director of Product Marketing to scale our technology skills platform and help businesses transform their technology strategy to close the tech skills gap. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing our B2B go-to-market strategy, partnering with Product and Sales teams to obsess over customers and accelerate business growth. You will lead a dedicated team of laser-focused product marketers, leveraging your persuasive communication style and visionary storytelling in concert with outstanding business acumen and innovative creativity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of PMMs to create tangible business outcomes
  • Define segmentation, positioning, messaging, go-to-market, and lifecycle strategies based on market research, competitive analysis, and an unwavering focus on the customer
  • Take a lead role in managing and executing the strategic product marketing plans to drive revenue
  • Monitor and yield improved performance metrics including revenue, pricing, deal size, sales cycle, markets and sales opportunity targets
  • Interpersonal skills that will help develop and build strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders in an effort to collaborate and drive results for the marketing and sales organizations
  • Collaboratively plan and execute marketing campaigns with our Brand, Digital, Field and International teams
  • Be a product evangelist and enthusiastic spokesperson communicating with internal audiences (sales, sales engineering, product, business development, engineering, etc.)
  • Represent Pluralsight to external stakeholders (customers, press, analysts) through social media (twitter, blogs, etc.), interviews, webinars, analyst briefings, etc.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of product marketing, product management, and/or business strategy experience
  • Expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools
  • In-depth knowledge of demand generation programs and inbound marketing
  • Experience leveraging data to evidence your results and drive your strategy
  • Outstanding time management skills and strong business acumen
  • Self-directed personality with an ability to enthusiastically prioritize multiple functions and tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong technical aptitude, analytical skills and an attention to detail
  • Team player with an ability to work cross functionally


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two or more (2+) years leading teams
  • Three or more (3+) years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience
  • Experience targeting enterprise tech leaders
