Director, Product Marketing

You’ll join our high-impact Product Marketing team to play a key role in leading the Platform PMM charge. You will be responsible for driving the strategy, growth, and retention of Clari’s platform features. Clari’s platform is a critical part of our strategy to serve customers with flexible workflows and to help customers gain insights and visibility.
As the leader of the platform PMM team, you’ll develop a deep understanding of our target customer segments and competitive landscape, and use those insights to partner closely with our platform product teams to influence our product strategy and roadmap, develop effective positioning, and messaging and launch new features. This role is a great opportunity to manage and build out a small team, while still getting involved in hands-on product marketing work.
Responsibilities
- Drive product marketing and the go-to-market strategy for Clari’s platform initiative, which includes the data platform, integrations, and tech partners
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Product Marketing Managers
- Become an expert on Clari’s technology, developing a deep understanding of our target customer segments, products and competitors to shape the product roadmap
- Analyze and understand customer needs to create repeatable winning strategies including differentiated positioning, value-based messaging, market requirements, packaging, customer evidence, sales plays, and thought leadership content
- Partner with and enable the wider PMM team to ensure we’re showcasing the benefits of our platform in messaging for each of our solutions and products
- Perform sales training and participate in sales calls to ensure field effectiveness in positioning and selling Clari solutions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of Product Marketing or related experience with proven experience in B2B SaaS marketing with a strong preference for platform solutions that serve Sales, Customers Success, and Marketing teams
- 2+ years experience managing a team
- Intellectual curiosity with an innate desire to bring new category-defining solutions to market
- You have both strong product instincts and technical curiosity which translates to clear packaging, positioning, and messaging
- Strong technical foundation and ability to pick up and understand product/tech concepts (e.g., an engineering degree and/or product/engineering experience)
- Strong public speaking, presentation, and communications skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- You thrive in cross-functional environments and can effectively collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams
