Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

Reporting to the Vice-President of Demand Marketing, the Director of Marketing Operations will be responsible for managing the global marketing operations and data analytics team while defining, optimizing, and scaling Cradlepoint's global demand marketing operations strategy.

You have a proven background leading successful global marketing operations, analytics and data strategies and know how to provide tactical support as a strategic partner for the marketing organization, enabling teams to run more effective campaigns and deliver high-performance results.

This is a highly visible and critical role, managing a team that champions data-led decision-making and supports effective and efficient global business scale.

What Will You Do?

  • Own, analyze and communicate the marketing operations strategy, execution, and optimization of platforms across the demand marketing funnel to report on marketing sourced/influenced leads, MQLs, SQLs, SALs and billings
  • Assess, improve, build, and scale marketing operations and analytics infrastructure to support scale of activities for global teams
  • Partner, collaborate and align MOPs support with global stakeholders in demand generation, field marketing, product marketing, channel/partner marketing, sales operations, BI, and finance
  • Management and growth of marketing leads database, ensuring database integrity, compliance and governance
  • Manage Tech Stack vendor relationships ensuring marketing automation and campaign orchestration platforms evolve to meet our current and future performance requirements
  • Build, evangelize, and deliver a world-class marketing operations function to support our sales and marketing stakeholders Manage and support our marketing automation platforms and the interactions with other integrated systems such as Salesforce, Outreach, Bizible, chat, web analytics
  • Manage continuous technical optimization of the marketing tech stack, ensure seamless data flows and reliable APIs among our systems and platforms
  • Develop real-time executive data reports that accurately communicate marketing sourced/influenced pipeline and billings contributions by marketing channel
  • Analyze marketing data to provide insights across the marketing department; maintain and develop reports and key dashboards to present marketing analytics that supply critical business intelligence at QBRs and SKOs
  • Build, coach, manage a high-performance MOPs Mentor new team members while providing leadership to execute against OKRs and scale marketing operations
  • Deliver quarterly, monthly and weekly reports to various level of audience based on various use cases, including C level, GTM team, regional marketing team as well as other global team members



Qualifications

  • 10+ years of B2B experience with increased levels of responsibility global leading teams and driving cross-functional, global marketing operations and analytics initiatives
  • Experience, passion, and curiosity for the latest operations tech stack, including direct experience in technology evaluation, implementation, process architecture, and launch
  • Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated success in navigating complex business issues and technical environments, and proven ability to inspire and build relationships with all stakeholders
  • Deep domain expertise with integrated ABM and marketing automation (Marketo, Demandbase ), lead & pipeline multi-touch attribution (Bizible) management
  • Deep understanding of enterprise sales, sales processes, sales cycles, ICPs, personas, and buying behavior
  • Experience meeting privacy compliance and data security standards such as CCPA, GDPR, SOC2, and others
  • Analytical thinker with expert experience analyzing, interpreting, and reporting key marketing and sales metrics across systems
  • Demonstrated success owning, optimizing, and scaling a MarTech stack including Marketo, SFDC, Bizible, PathFactory, Demandbase, Drift, TechTarget, Google Analytics, and others
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing time and resources to meet key business objectives
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
  • Bonus for experience with the following skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, WordPress
  • Marketo Certification
  • BA/BS Degree in business, economics, or a related discipline
