As Director of Marketing and Public Relations (PR) at Infront X, you will develop and execute a cohesive brand, marketing, and public relations strategy for a professional service firm within the sports industry. These B2B efforts will require thought leadership, an analytical mindset, tactical planning and execution, and a passion for marketing and public relations, especially within the sports industry. This position will build upon the record-setting results achieved in 2021 and will be a key part in the transformation of our Sales and Marketing organization, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer of Infront X.

Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Develop integrated marketing strategies that are aligned with both the Company growth strategy and supporting Commercial strategy, inclusive of earned, owned, and paid media. Event marketing, SEO, PR, and digital marketing efforts have produced the best results in the past, but this individual is expected to setup the optimal mix to generate the greatest amount of brand awareness, Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), and ROI
  • Apply an analytics-driven, experimental mindset 

Execution

  • Own and manage marketing concepts and campaigns from conception to execution 
  • Directly and indirectly generate leads through marketing efforts
  • Lead the content creation efforts for web, social, PR, and event marketing with assistance from subject matter expertise, third parties, and internal stakeholders
  • Nurture leads through the demand funnel
  • Own marketing operations, including the setup of marketing automation, administration of Hubspot, and utilization of CRM, analytics, and social tools
  • Manage the attendance, speaking engagements, and sponsorship of industry events
  • Connect Infront X’s subject matter experts and leaders with avenues for communication, including owning and responding to inquiries 

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Lead practice owners, business unit leads, and sales teams as both a B2B marketing strategist and a service-provider
  • Build relationships with industry leaders and conference owners such as Sports Business Journal, Leaders, Sports Techie, and others
  • Collaborate with sales on lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns
  • Report marketing KPIs monthly, quarterly, and annually

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably at a digital agency or in professional services
  • Demonstrated ability to set and manage a budget to deliver a specified ROI, increase brand equity, and/or improve marketing KPIs
  • 2-3 years of PR and event marketing experience
  • 2-3 years of experience with a Marketing Automation Platform, such as HubSpot (preferred), Eloqua, Pardot or Marketo
  • Experience actively managing, and preferably leading the integration of Marketing Automation and CRM 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage campaigns and customer journeys, with practical experience optimizing both
  • Proven experience leading branding initiatives and increasing brand equity year over year 
  • Passion for sports
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Economics, or in a related field
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, Marketing, Digital Marketing, SEO/SEM, CRM, are a plus
