SO YOU WANT TO JOIN CANDY?

As a Director of Growth, you will build scale & lead a best in class performance marketing team. You will be a central part of Candy’s success by outlining, building, and scaling new customer acquisition channels and approach across digital and traditional mediums.  You will be in charge of managing and optimizing significant marketing to launch our company and our products into the market.

AS OUR MOST VALUABLE PLAYER, YOU WILL...

  • Build and Manage Candy's Growth Team having direct responsibility for performance marketing on paid social, paid search, television, direct mail, podcast, and other digital and traditional media channels 
  • Supervise performance tracking and evaluation on a daily basis to foster decision making in regards to budget allocations and outlook 
  • Manage budget for marketing including but not limited to outlook/forecasting and ROI assessments 
  • Develop and scale both new digital and more traditional channels
  • Develop and Mentor Growth Marketing team to build a top tier marketing org 
  • Optimize channels through campaign performance management, keyword optimization, copy testing, and more
  • Work closely with other members of the marketing team (creative, brand, social etc.) to develop durable messaging and storytelling for direct response ads 
  • Be a senior executive within marketing and the broader org, collaborating with Product, Creative, Finance, Analytics, and Design

WHO ARE YOU?

  • 6+ years of multi-channel direct response acquisition marketing experience for an e-commerce and/or DTC business or agency 
  • Extensive experience setting goals, managing a budget, building forecasts, and delivering against monthly spend, CPA, LTV, and ROI targets across all forms of marketing
  • Tactical experience managing Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, Television, Direct Mail, Affiliate programs, and/or Podcasts
  • Experience managing multi-functional in-house teams and external agencies
  • Highly analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making within imperfect or incomplete information environment.
  • Strong technical acumen and hands-on experience with “ecommerce basics” tools such as Google Analytics, Optimizely, Klaviyo, etc.
  • Experience with attribution and mixed media models 
  • Experience building and managing teams; excellent managerial and mentoring skills, and a desire to develop and coach your direct reports 
  • Detailed-oriented, while maintaining the ability to see the overall picture and challenge the traditional path 
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to get your point across in a succinct and professional manner 
  • Convey a can-do, positive attitude towards tackling problems and are able to see other points of view, while maintaining a confident direction.
