We are hiring a Head of Lifecycle Marketing out of our Los Angeles office. This individual will drive lifecycle and growth marketing across paid and owned channels for Credit Karma Money. You will lead the strategy for email and in product marketing placements as well as paid marketing to drive key onboarding actions such as account funding, first purchase and driving recurring deposits to the account. As we build out product features you will be responsible for driving adoption of new features and engagement for millions of Credit Karma Money account holders.

In addition you will be a key part of the Credit Karma Money growth leadership team and will manage and mentor a group of high performing marketers, while driving ROI across your team’s channels, and enjoying extremely high visibility to senior leadership. This role may also be responsible for paid and owned marketing for Credit Karma Money’s high profile integrations with Intuit’s suite of products including TurboTax, where Credit Karma Money has become the recommended refund deposit account for the tens of millions of TurboTax filers. 

You have a strong grasp of email marketing technologies with demonstrated experience unlocking or scaling marketing programs and a passion for testing. In addition, you enjoy making data-driven decisions and influencing and aligning with cross-functional partners to implement marketing strategies and technologies.  

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a best-in-class team of passionate, data-driven growth marketers
  • Drive feature adoption, new feature roll out and product usage for Credit Karma Money through paid and owned marketing channels
  • Unlock personalization at scale for marketing to Credit Karma Money 
  • Define the marketing vision and strategy for Intuit product integrations including Turbotax
  • Leverage data to understand our products in depth and identify areas of opportunity
  • Create, manage and optimize a complex life cycle of outbound (i.e. email, push) and in-product notifications
  • Create, manage and optimize paid marketing and remarketing campaigns to drive deeper engagement with Credit Karma Money by millions of users 
  • Partner directly with Creative, Brand, Analytics, Product, Engineering and Design to develop and execute projects that drive revenue and engagement
  • Partner with marketing technology groups to develop the platforms that power Credit Karma’s 1:1 marketing and member experience, including our notifications and remarketing engines

Minimum Basic Requirements:

  • 7-8 years+ B2C experience across growth, product management, CRM, product analytics, or other relevant experience
  • 3+ B2C experience in growth/marketing
  • 3+ years of experience in managing a high performing team 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A passion for creating transformative consumer experiences, and a track record of implementing such experiences via marketing, products and programs.
  • Excitement and savvy for applying new technologies for next-generation consumer facing product experiences in the fintech space.
  • High energy and positive attitude with a "can do," solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong familiarity with SQL and advanced Excel functionality
  • Experience designing and implementing A/B and multivariate tests
  • Extensive email strategy, segmentation, targeting, deployment, & measurement experience
  • Experience managing channel revenue to meet annual goals & forecasting
  • Excellent written, verbal & presentation skills to executive level partners
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make business decisions
  • Technical degree (economics, engineering, statistics, etc.) strongly preferred
