Job Description

Serve as the strategic lead for the business, working to pull together critical information to supporting to support delivery of key Demand Generation, Field Marketing and Digital programs to exceed growth targets consistently and predictably through actionable levers including, coverage, segmentation, capacity, productivity, detailed integrated planning, and insights. Must have a strong analytical skills and support strategy through data and analysis. Reports to SVP Demand, Digital and Field and acts as chief of staff.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice to Alteryx leadership team on strategy and vision in addition to management of daily operations and or projects of high importance

  • Partner with multiple business organizations, i.e., sales operations, strategy, global marketing operations, corporate and customer marketing, finance etc.

  • GTM planning: understanding of the major drivers of GTM strategy and levers to influence direction, set up weekly meetings and directly bi-annual planning cadences for business. 

  • Modeling and analysis: know what questions to ask, how to create the dataset, what the data says, and what actions to recommend based on the results 

  • Ability to make a pitch on the facts, alternatives to solve, and recommended solution to executive team and global marketing to drive improvement in productivity and growth in marketing strategies.

  • Understanding of the market proactively gathers market and competitive selling intelligence and assists in devising long term development strategies for AMS marketing teams.

  • Strategic planner thru the regions and functions: Drives quarterly and annual planning activities including segmentation, coverage, strategy, planning, and communication on behalf of AMS Marketing.

  • Strong Budget & financial management for quarterly guidance of all budgets, must be able to work with finance

  • Critical collaboration and teaming skills in a highly matrix organization where influence is critical to success, as well as information gathering.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or 15 years of professional leadership experience. MBA/other grad degree preferred.

  • Industry experience and strong market awareness of the Software industry and competitive landscape.

  • 10+ years of experience in the industry, SAAS experience is a plus.

  • Passion for driving great stakeholder experience, ability to think outside in from the start

  • Teaming and collaboration, must be able to communicate with all types of functions

Preferred Skills:

  • Can move between strategy and execution-this is hands on role with many weekly deliverables

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, including the ability to influence without formal authority

  • Skilled coach and leader

  • Results driven and able to motivate or inspire others, from junior to senior staff, all levels in the organization and remain calm under pressure; strong interest in coaching and mentoring team members

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills-critical must, loves data

  • Executive level communication and presentation skills;

  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management

  • Manage recurring senior leadership team meetings, including, but not limited to, setting agendas and ensuring follow-through

  • Broadly support the demand generation leadership and other senior leaders on agendas, collaborating with preparation of and editing, finalizing presentations and related materials.

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, CO is $132,100 - $231,200. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
