The Role

Lyra Health is seeking an experienced communications leader to lead and drive our corporate communications function, including strategy and planning, messaging, execution, deliverables, and agency management across PR, AR, Social Media, and Influencers. We are a fast growing, mission-driven team, focused on transforming behavioral health care through technology with a human touch.


Collaborating closely with other members of our marketing team and across the company, you will play a critical role in elevating Lyra Health’s brand awareness across key audiences, such as media, industry analysts, social media, and influencers, ultimately building visibility, reputation, and preference with customers, members, and partners. 


The ideal candidate will have experience working with executive leadership in enterprise B2B technology and/or healthcare technology, will be a proven team leader, and will have a track record for building high-impact, relationship-driven communications programs.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop communications strategies and plans in collaboration with Marketing and Executive Leadership
  • Develop, in collaboration with other team members, messaging, themes, and storylines to support awareness, reputation, and preference among target audiences
  • Establish, develop, and manage relationships with key media, industry analysts, and influencers
  • Prepare, develop, and coach spokespeople
  • Lead both internal and PR agency teams with clear objectives, effective leadership, support, and measurement
  • Drive thought leadership programs to help build company brand awareness and reputation across our customers, members, and partners
  • Create and oversee the development of original content such as press releases, bylined articles, presentations, social media, and video content
  • Develop and deploy communications processes that inform and align our teams, make us more effective, and drive efficiency
  • Actively measure communications programs to drive tactical and strategic achievement

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience including both agency and in-house communications roles
  • Proven, results-oriented leadership of communications teams and programs
  • Drive to manage and prioritize in a fast moving, high-growth organization
  • Demonstrated ability to write and communicate clearly and concisely
  • A culturally responsive approach to communications
  • Experience developing, preparing, and coaching executive spokespeople
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence at all levels
  • Passion for storytelling
  • Results orientation, candor, and authenticity
  • Track record creating thought leadership in the technology sector
  • Knack for translating complex topics into compelling, digestible stories
  • Deep experience executing coordinated, company-wide communications strategies
  • Organizational, project, and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Strong spirit of collaboration and proven ability to work across different groups

  • Nice to Have

  • Enterprise software and/or healthcare experience
  • Corporate communications role in a similar size company or larger
