Director of Corporate Communication
We’re looking for a results-driven, action-oriented, and visionary professional to lead external and internal communication for Kyruus. The ideal candidate approaches communications strategically and enjoys finding creative ways to simplify challenging and technical situations, seizes opportunities to tell the Kyruus story, and loves working with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
This role will report to the VP of Marketing and collaborates closely with the CEO/founder, executive team, marketing teams, HR, and PR agency on a cadence of newsworthy content for external audiences and will manage an effective communications program for the internal audience.
This is a position that has you thinking on your feet every day and requires the ability to jump in with an executive presence and strong thought leadership. You will own the communications strategies to support Kyruus’ vision, mission, strategic priorities, values, culture, and brand.
Responsibilities
- Act as a practical visionary who will work closely with colleagues across the organization to develop an external communications strategy, including message crafting, meaningful storytelling, and effective amplification.
- Strengthen brand awareness and affinity.
- Work closely with business unit marketing teams to ensure consistent and aligned messaging while leveraging channels such as advertising, events, and partnerships to meet corporate communication goals.
- Ensure that Kyruus is communicating effectively with employees.
- Serve as counsel to the leadership team on internal and external communication matters and develop thought leadership platforms for select leaders.
- Measure effectiveness of external and internal communications.
- Partners with HR team to build employer communications strategy
- Provide media coaching and training.
- Manage external PR agency.
What You'll Bring:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in communication, preferably with healthcare experience
- Experience with branding and M&A preferred
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to create authentic, powerful messaging and content
- Experience working with senior executives and a proven ability to influence, build relationships to execute, and challenge the status quo.
- Excellent planning skills, with a proven ability to manage, prioritize, and allocate resources.
- Must be a big-thinking strategist and a tactical doer.
- Ability to make decisions in a rapidly changing environment and perform in high pressure situations with multiple stakeholders, including senior executives under tight timeframes.
- Strong senior presence, able to effectively manage complex, sensitive, and confidential matters
