What You’re Applying For:
Are you passionate about brand building and experienced at driving robust performance outcomes across different channels. Edmunds is looking for a Director to lead and execute brand building and consumer-facing strategies that drive business goals around brand awareness and consumer audience growth. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for brand marketing strategy, channel management and campaign optimization. This is a highly cross-functional role that collaborates with a variety of marketing support teams as well as across the organization with product, SEO, content and business unit teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Work in partnership with the VP of Marketing to establish a strategic framework for the execution of Edmunds’ brand awareness and consumer audience growth objectives
- Spearhead brand marketing plans with clear objectives/tactics and KPIs, and execute on those plans while being nimble, flexible and tracking against real-time results
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (creative, research, analytics, PR and product team) on campaign deliverables and tracking outcomes
- Lead the day-to-day management of brand campaigns in partnership with support agencies and internal team, ensuring a link between the brand strategy, media planning, budgeting and tracking campaign outcomes
- Proactively stay on top of industry trends, events, new technology, and identify new opportunities for testing and growth
What You Need:
- 8 or more years in consumer marketing with consumer-facing brand experience, including direct experience of the development and execution of a strategy that bolstered growth in brand awareness, market share and onsite visitation
- A deep understanding of, and extensive experience in, brand communications and hands-on experience across multiple channels (including both digital and offline advertising)
- Media buying and campaign optimization experience; agency experience is a plus
- Experience with a digital service oriented product
- An analytical and data-oriented mindset with in-depth experience in campaign measurement and performance
- Experience stewarding impactful brand campaigns in partnership with agencies, internal creatives and cross-functional teammates from development to execution and measurement
- Natural ability to communicate a POV regarding big picture narratives as well as campaign level details to inspire clarity and confidence within a cross functional team
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Successful track record in managing direct reports and fostering an inclusive team environment
