Manages client(s) relationships, the development and execution of marketing programs, and agency financial performance of one or more accounts/brands. Oversees and troubleshoots the creative execution and implementation phases of marketing programs, and partners with Account Director to lead strategic development of client account

Builds strong client relationships through delivery of expert counsel, understanding of client's business, achievement of objectives and flawless execution.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport and credibility with day-to-day and senior level clients based on trust and expert strategic
  • Serve as an expert in the client's business and category, staying abreast of competitors, product development and market trends, and sharing information with internal team
  • Develop and execute marketing solutions to address client challenges:
    • Provide well-grounded marketing recommendations and ideas to clients based on their objectives and business needs
    • Partner with strategic planning and creative to meet key client marketing objectives, push forward insights and ideas, deliver compelling creative product and maintain high standards
    • Evaluate effectiveness of marketing program, make recommendations to optimize future iterations of the program and determine next steps
  • Lead internal and client meetings and presentations; develop and deliver proposals, decks, agendas and follow up communications.
  • Manage project scopes and budgets; alert client of financial and timing implications of their request(s); secure client approval to proceed; and revise budgets as needed
  • Keep agency team informed of client requests and changes; anticipate potential problems and implications; proactively develop and execute solutions; allocate necessary resources
  • Partner with business and analytics leads to develop measurement criteria for all projects, holding appropriate team members accountable for
  • Analyze program results, summarize findings, and recommend program enhancements and/or changes to improve.
  • Assist senior leadership in the development of program recaps and associated presentations for clients based on analysis of results and
  • Quickly and effectively resolve client problems/concerns to ensure client
  • Lead development of direct reports through mentorship, coaching and ongoing performance feedback and identification of learning
  • Approve time for team at minimum once a week and approve expenses within 2 days of
  • Handle other duties as assigned by

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6 to 8 years of advertising or marketing experience; agency experience required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive category through an advertising and / or marketing lens.
  • Expert knowledge of cross-tier digital strategy as it relates to dealer marketing.
  • Experience implementing data-founded digital strategy within the automotive space.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SEM, SEO, programmatic and social media marketing.
  • Experience leading data analytics & reporting automation initiatives.
  • Knowledge and experience in media strategy and implementation.
  • Able to build relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, agency partners, other departments and teams to successfully deliver quality
  • Able to communicate clearly, thoroughly, succinctly and in a timely manner both verbally and in writing; responds to comments, suggestions and criticisms in a thoughtful and constructive
  • Strong presentation skills; successfully presents and sells new thinking, strategies and/or ideas to clients; influences and/or persuades key stakeholders to
  • Proactive approach, demonstrated by successfully anticipating potential problems/obstacles, understanding implications and implementing solutions
  • Analyzes results, interprets data, draws sound conclusions, and develops insightful and actionable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
  • Experience managing and/or mentoring individuals and providing actionable constructive feedback
