Position Overview

Daily Harvest is looking for a Digital Merchandiser to join our Performance Marketing team. The Performance Marketing team is divided into two functions: Growth (focusing on driving new customer acquisition through a variety of marketing channels) and Lifecycle Marketing (focusing on the new customer on-boarding journey that leads to longterm relationships). Together, these functions drive the company’s revenue forward.

The ideal Digital Merchandiser at Daily Harvest is a highly motivated and analytical self-starter. They are customer obsessed, results oriented, and committed to providing an outstanding customer experience. The Digital Merchandiser demonstrates an understanding of basic e-commerce principles, retail skills, and has an interest in the digital landscape across selling platforms and marketing channels to build a competitive advantage. This individual is forward thinking and can identify impactful insights and communicate these learnings. Reporting to our Director of Digital Merchandising, the Digital Merchandiser will manage online merchandising, site search, user experience, and maintaining product data.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of catalog across digital sales channels
  • Maintain and update item assets in content management system
  • Own and execute new item launches
  • Manage all merchandising activities related to item information, pricing, taxonomy, and ranking
  • Create monthly and quarterly insights to make customer informed decisions around future merchandising strategies
  • Identify white space opportunities based on customer behavior data
  • Partner with Director of Digital Merchandising in driving site optimizations and navigation strategies to address changing business needs

Who you are:

  • BS/BA in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, User Experience, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience site merchandising and/or marketing
  • Solid business acumen and analytical skills with ability to make data driven suggestions
  • Experience with product/catalog/sales management software required
  • Experience with Contentful and Looker are preferred
  • Merchandising experience with a multi-category business using data and analytics
  • Collaborative cross-functional team player who is open minded, flexible and willing to be hands-on in the role
  • Demonstrated ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment with great time management skills
