Primary Responsibilites:

To support the Building Engineering Services Head of Communications Director and wider marketing team in the implementation of the strategic marketing plan for the Building Engineering Services Business Group. To ensure the best in class web design, social media output, graphic design, video production, marketing and service is delivered to the business that aligns with the core visions, values and objectives of the company.

This role will be responsible for content generation, social media planning, video production, campaign execution, analytical reporting, digital marketing strategy, and more. This person would help build and grow our brand and develop overall strategies on how to increase online presence. They are an integral part of the Building Engineering Services marketing communications team and will be required to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Ultimately, they should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies.

Roles & Responsibilities

An overview of the roles and responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Content Production

    • Copywriting for digital content including website, email campaigns, blogs
    • Design artwork to support campaigns whilst adhering to brand guidelines
    • Create original video content
    • Attend events and produce content.
  • Social Media (Organic & Paid)

    • Execute campaigns (Organic & Paid) from start to finish, including planning, strategy, coordination, content creation, execution, post event reporting and analysis
    • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms working with internal stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to create a social media calendar.
    • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Website

    • Website maintenance working with internal stakeholders to ensure content remains relevant and drives engagement.
    • Create project case studies
    • Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to ensure timely updates and development of web pages.
    • Work with corporate marketing team to measure web traffic and monitor SEO.
  • Email Marketing campaign

    • Working in CRM and email marketing tool to set up segments, targeting, schedule campaigns.
    • Developing email marketing automation campaigns for ongoing client engagement
    • Create visual assets for use in campaigns
    • Support email campaign delivery, working with key market sectors within the group


  • Analytics, Analysis, and Reporting

    • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics for social media channels, email marketing campaigns, and website pages.
    • Using various tools to produce reports and analyses to meet marketing objectives.
    • Monitor social media channels/ news feeds for industry trends.

Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
  • 3-5 years' experience with B2B marketing and/or content development
  • Advanced knowledge and experience using of CMS systems e.g. WordPress, Drupal
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics (preferably with a Google Analytics Certification)
  • Experience of email marketing systems e.g. Eloqua
  • Direct experience using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
  • MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator).
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
  • Excellent social listening skills
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
  • Top-notch oral / verbal communication and reporting skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Experience of PPC and paid social campaigns
