Your Role and Responsibilities

Build, execute and refine marketing strategy & tactics to support outbound storage sales in the Southeast region. This must take into account local trends, digital assets, segmentation, targeting, seller territory squads and local partners while leveraging various data & analytics to improve client engagement & outcomes. This effort will include:

  • Create and/or repurpose existing storage content for direct outbound client messaging and nurture campaigns that consider locality, industry and purchase history.
  • Implement, track, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across digital channels while working with sellers.
  • Record, measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns against defined metrics & KPIs.
  • Apply 360 view of the Sales Plays from launch, execution and lead retrospectives for continuous improvement
  • Improve 'marketing funnel' and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with IBM Business Partners and Distributors to create sales plays and campaigns localized to specific geographies, industries and/or solutions. Leverage IBM Business Partner and Distributor events to drive messaging and create new business opportunities.
  • Utilize performance tracking and metrics to continuously improve campaigns and sales plays.
  • Collaborate with virtual teams utilizing agile marketing principles.
  • Leverage existing IBM marketing tools to optimize client engagement while following GDPR & other outreach governance
  • Understand how to apply the digital sales technology stack to enhance prospecting effectiveness
  • Recommend new pipeline discovery initiatives based on business needs or local opportunity
  • Cadence Creation (Note: "Cadence" refers to the messaging and client/prospect outreach steps seller's will action with prospects)

NOTE: This role reports to the Brookhaven, GA - IBM office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 3 years of experience in digital marketing campaigns for a technology/ SaaS organization.
  • Strength in analytics, PPC, AdWords, social media marketing, blog, SEO etc.
  • Passion for insightful, data-influenced marketing as this position will require a significant amount of data analysis, refinement, A/B testing, etc.
  • Demonstrated communication skills.
  • Proficient in building digital campaigns.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and complex environment.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in SaaS business and with Storage / Data solutions is a plus.
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing / Communications or a similar field.
