This position offers a strong software engineer the opportunity to work with our product organization and customers to develop GenoPalate's solutions to help our clients with their health and wellness journey.

The Job:

Orchestrate day to day marketing operations for a B2C, eCommerce-driven start-up, taking on a wide breadth of marketing roles/responsibilities. Lead the development and execution of growth marketing efforts, including day to day management of internal and external resources. Accountable for marketing campaign ideation and execution, conduct research and analysis to identify business opportunities, gather and analyze data to determine the best marketing practices, and monitor the progress of all efforts, preparing reports as needed. See below for more detail. The ideal candidate will be creative, data driven, curious and a team player.

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, and paid media.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against KPI's.
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize and predict spend and performance.
  • Support the design, build and maintenance of our social media presence.
  • Manage CRM (HubSpot); user administration, sales process, sales follow, and email workflows.
  • Plan, execute and measure digital marketing experiments and conversion tests.
  • Own, develop and execute email marketing strategy and tactics: direct content/copy creation, perform a/b testing, create email lifecycle marketing strategy, trigger and promotional emails; ongoing efforts to cleanse and segment customer contacts.
  • Manage media planning: paid ads/paid social and directing agency resources to execute.
  • Give direction to and manage creative design resources / graphic designers.
  • Maintain KPI dashboard that illustrates customer acquisition performance
  • Support maintenance of promo/content calendar by providing promotional insights based on competitors, market and seasonality.
  • Organize and study web analytics, email metrics and customer purchasing data to effectively increase quarterly revenue and customer engagement.



The Right Fit:

  • 3-5+ years experience in digital/performance marketing
  • 2+ years experience managing Email Marketing/CRM/Automation & campaign execution (Hubspot experience preferred)
  • BS degree in Marketing, Advertising or Business or equivalent experience
  • Highly analytical/data-driven: can understand and dissect data as well as synthesize information into an understandable narrative
  • Strong interpersonal & problem-solving skills, time management, multitasking & analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
