How you will make an impact:

The Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD) of Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a talented hands-on Digital Marketing Specialist to help with planning, execution, and day-to-day management of Demand Generation efforts across our digital channels.

Develop and lead marketing programs along with the demand generation plan for the Chemicals division in support of our recently rebranded product portfolio and website migration. The successful candidate will be results-focused, collaborative and inclusive, playing an active positive role in working with internal and external partners to achieve company and customer goals.

Responsibilities:
  • A self-starter and strategic problem solver who looks after the day-to-day operations and roadmap of the Digital Marketing Program within LCD
  • As a digital marketing specialist, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing coordinated digital marketing programs to accelerate customer acquisition and online conversion
  • This position will focus on search (SEO/SEM), web analytics, and marketing automation.
  • Plan and implement strategic approaches to digital marketing channels specifically SEM, display, social media, advertising campaign to drive value
  • Counsel team and build processes for digital marketing tactics to ensure broad coverage and consistent experience across the portfolio.
  • Use data to identify trends and insights in order to optimize spend and performance
  • Assist in planning and implementing A/B experiments and conversion tests
  • Other related projects or duties may be assigned as needed
  • A collaborator who works with LCD Market Development, Product Management, and other internal teams to understand business needs, identify potential opportunities and help gather data from a wide range of sources to support the program
  • Proven ability to get things done with a focus on business impact

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Marketing or a related field
  • Hands-on experience working across digital channels
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data manipulation skills
  • Experience managing and optimizing social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Experience with analytics, segmentation, email systems (Eloqua), social publishing platforms (Hootsuite), Google ads
  • Search engine optimization and tracking
  • Knowledge of relevant platforms and technology products
  • An understanding of the buyer's journey and how this is optimally carried out online
  • The intellectually curiosity to ask the right questions for a deeper understanding and consider creative approaches
  • Ability to operate optimally both independently and within a team
  • Strong analytical and excel skills with the ability to quickly isolate data and insights
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management, organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
