The Email Channel Strategist is the subject matter expert in leveraging the email channel and the marketing automation platform for digital marketing campaigns. You will work closely with fellow digital marketers, integrated marketing managers, marketing operations and the creative teams to plan and execute campaigns across multiple digital channels to drive results for the business. You are tightly aligned with the team on priorities, communicate exceptionally well on programs and status, and own the outcome and success of the email channel. You monitor campaign KPIs and provide creative solutions within the email channel. You are empowered to innovate through collaborative problem solving and process improvement and help deliver on our mission to make marketing exceptional partners to sales and the product organization.
You'll be responsible for translating strategy to dynamic customer journeys leveraging Pardot's Engagement Studio and partnering with Automation SMEs to incorporate multiple channel touchpoints. It will be important to gain understanding of the effectiveness of the email channel in campaigns across all of the business units (Segments) to help the team prioritize the overall campaign channel mix. You're experienced in reading results of the email channel and optimizing for improved campaign performance.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, QC testing, on-time deployment and continually evaluate results to optimize the campaign
- Document and improve processes in executing email campaigns and potentially train support staff
- Evaluate and review work of support staff providing feedback where necessary
- Collaborate with Marketing Automation Manager to improve email marketing automations and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards for Pardot.
- Partner with team members and channel specialists to execute channel strategies specific to how we use the email channel in conjunction with other digital touchpoints
- Plan and perform A/B testing within the email channel around how we execute as well as specific KPI's like open and CT rates or conversion rates of the CTAs for the campaign
- Pull reports, analyze results, and present findings and next steps of email channel
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across email marketing in combination with other digital channels to help optimize campaigns
- Dev elop Nurture programs to improve quality of leads generated and passed to Business Development
- Participate in team meetings and prioritization efforts - use data for basis of decision making
- Research and recommend innovative solutions for campaigns and segments
- Help maximize the capabilities of our marketing automation tools with an eye on building processes to adopt and leverage the latest releases of the platform software
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
- Proven working experience in digital marketing
- Strong understanding of digital marketing performance metrics and how to optimize
- Expertise in marketing automation tools like Pardot, Hubspot or Marketo (Pardot preferred)
- Experience in marketing analytics tools like Pardot Einstein and B2B Marketing Analytics and CRM like Salesforce dashboards
- Highly creative and experienced in identifying target audiences and devising email marketing campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
- Experience with A/B testing
- Strong problem-solving skillset leveraging technology
- Data-driven minded

Salary: $70,000
This role is eligible for: Variable Compensation
Salary Range: $70,000 base with an annual bonus of 10%
