Summary
Supports the media and acquisition marketing strategy for Northwestern Mutual. This role will collaborate with a diverse set of functions; including creative, technology, analytics and social, to support our campaigns across all media channels, from pre-launch preparations to performance analysis.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Media Creative

  • Supports Sr. Managers in day-to-day agency relationship management to ensure alignment on strategy, and quality in execution of media trafficking and optimizations.
  • Partners with internal technology, product, analytics, creative, and legal teams as well as external agencies to project manage campaigns by identifying tasks, timelines, and risks.
  • Consults during the creative development process and ultimately assist in: conducting visual design reviews, tracking and issuing approvals, and recommending new concepts or test Campaign Execution.
  • Supports the campaign deployment process: submitting creative through compliance, compiling and transferring assets, managing ad trafficking, implementing tracking, and conducting final quality assurance checks before launch.
  • Oversees the implementation of (UTM) tracking structures both by agency partners as well as across the marketing organization internally, in support of accurate, full-funnel reporting and analysis.


Analytics Reporting

  • Regularly updates and maintains internal digital media performance reporting at platform, channel, and program levels to monitor key performance indicators, generate business intelligence, and enable data-driven decision making.
  • Learns and utilizes marketing technology, data, and reporting platforms like Adobe Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, DCM, and Optimizely to assist with regular reporting and ad hoc analyses to identify causal drivers of performance.
  • Collaborates with internal analytics partners to track projects and priorities, recommend areas for analysis, and develop hypotheses.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is required; preferably in Marketing or Business
  • Minimum of one (1) year of digital marketing experience
  • Experience exacting standards for accuracy and attention to detail, particularly regarding the quality and accuracy of data and reporting
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills, and experience working collaboratively and cross-functionally
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to identify operational opportunities, refine processes, and produce efficiencies
  • Familiarity with analytics and reporting platforms like Adobe Analytics or similar; training will be available on all internal-use platforms
  • Experience performing detailed analyses in Excel or similar and a high degree of data literacy
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks or projects
  • Basic understanding of the digital ecosystem and full funnel digital advertising programs preferred
  • Previous experience building Facebook campaigns in platform including simple reporting exercises preferred
  • Bilingual or Multilingual Applicants encouraged
  • UTM and advanced tagging of digital assets preferred


This job is not covered by the existing Collective Bargaining Agreement.
