ABOUT THE ROLE

BlueVine is seeking an accomplished and innovative Experience Strategy Manager responsible for creating best in-class customer experiences on BlueVine.com that support customer growth, retention and engagement across our banking and lending products. Reporting to the Director, Head of Website and SEO, he / she will partner closely with Product, Design, Growth Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Communications, Customer Success, and Commercial teams to improve our end-to-end website experience.

The role is both strategic and executional; strength in both and the ability to flex back and forth is critical.  As the primary point of contact for the future of BlueVine.com, this candidate will lead website strategic planning, user experience, ongoing feature mapping and prioritization, conversion optimization, as well as the ongoing test & learn agenda to inform decisions and validate performance with data intelligence. 

An ideal candidate will have experience working in a customer-centric environment, and will have led notable end to end website and mobile design and development programs. They will have deep expertise in leading customer data, content management, analytics, personalization and A/B testing products, and will be most comfortable when applying this expertise toward designing and delivering new and innovative online experiences. He / She can (working with the PMM team) confidently lead qualitative and quantitative research, including competitive research, to inform customer journey definition, and will be skilled and knowledgeable in SEO best practices to inform content strategy and website technology roadmaps.

This role requires someone who is a self-starter, is analytical, detail oriented and thrives in a data and results-driven environment. Having a track record working in fast-moving and high-tech environments, having a passion for supporting SMB businesses and having the skills to collaborate across a large cross-functional team from product marketing, lifecycle marketing, paid media, marketing analytics, design, engineering to customer success will set an ideal candidate up for success in this role.

This is not a fully remote role. At BlueVine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment.  All of our offices will reopen in accordance with local guidelines, and will follow a hybrid model.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design and develop end to end customer experience for new product launches, policy & feature updates
  • Own and implement solutions that support an end to end customer journey experience on web & search, based on and driven by enterprise wide customer personas / segments
  • Establish a hypothesis-driven test and learn discipline for BlueVine.com
  • Partner with research & analytics in applying qualitative & quantitative methods with rigorous A/B testing to understand traffic and conversion drivers
  • Own and implement SEO & CRO programs to meet new customer growth / ROI targets
  • Work cross-functionally with peers on product marketing, design, engineering, risk, data science, and insights to develop a web/mobile product roadmap and execute flawlessly against that plan
  • Execute landing page strategies for acquisition and lifecycle programs 
  • Constantly monitor traffic, funnel conversion, page performance metrics and ROI to deliver improved performance
  • Drive performance through constantly testing new strategies (segmentation, messaging, navigation, design, content etc)

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • 8+ years of experience in customer marketing and / or growth marketing
  • 4+ years experience in leading website experience strategy programs
  • Bachelor's Degree required / Advanced Degree preferred
  • Top of his/her game regarding modern product development skills and expertise, web/mobile design and content management, web/mobile analytics, testing and optimization and organic search 
  • An understanding of digital marketing best practices and keeps abreast of the latest tools, techniques, & technologies
  • Expertise in analyzing user funnels, working in a customer-centric environment and using customer insights to surface tangible growth opportunities
  • Experience with technology companies in the SMB or Financial Services segment is a plus
  • Knowledge and direct experience working with leading CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Sitecore, Adobe)
  • Knowledge and direct experience working with leading web-tech platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Optimizely)
  • Knowledge and direct experience working with leading site-side analytics and customer data tools (Google Analytics, Segment, etc.)
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills including delivering presentations
  • Experience working effectively in a heavily cross-functional, fast-paced environment and can provide deliverables under tight deadlines
  • A process-driven individual who has effectively managed and executed complex, multi-layer work streams in a matrix organization
  • Strong at multi-tasking and project management skills with a team player mentality
  • Flexible, Positive, High Energy, Proactive
  • Strong bias towards action
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for and experience marketing to small and medium-sized businesses
