Digital Communications Strategist

Cincinnati

65k-72k base salary

Job Summary

Paycor's Digital Communications Strategist plays a critical role in helping internal Associates understand company mission, strategy and culture. The right person has a strong understanding of technology, digital communications and how communication impacts the employee experience.

This role will report to the Manager, Internal Communications and work with leaders across the business to help execute the day-to-day functions of communications. While those tasks include things like email strategy, newsletters and employee spotlights, the primary focus of this role is on the digital footprint. The right person will be able to create and executive a vision for our internal intranet and create impactful, 1:1, customized communications journeys for our Associates. This is a unique opportunity to create a digital experience in a high-growth SaaS environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Create digital communications experience for internal Associates - managing intranet design, search functionality, navigation, content and governance.
  • Use Cerkl to customize communications newsletters, journeys and experience and help ensure Associates receive the right communication at the right time.
  • Leverage Cerkl's analytics to understand what's working, adapt strategy and report metrics out to the business.
  • Write content for employee communications that reflect Paycor's culture of high performance and company mission via blogs, email, newsletters, employee spotlights, video and executive scripts and more.
  • Partner with functions to understand Paycor stories and tell them in an impactful way.
  • Embody Paycor's Guiding Principles and culture and bring them to life through communications and employee experience.
  • Partner with design team to help turn communications into compelling graphics, video and visual medium.
  • Help plan company-wide in-person and virtual events such as all-Associate meetings and webinars.
  • Drive and embrace Paycor's Virtual First culture; demonstrate strong understanding of communications needs in remote environment.


Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • 2-6 years experience in digital communications; experience in B2B SaaS and/or HCM industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications or related field.
  • Design skills are a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear proficiency for influencing internal and external audiences at all levels, including executive management.
  • Analytical skills and ability to draw appropriate conclusions from multiple data sources and inputs; able to link long-term strategy with short-term execution plans to drive change.
