Position Summary:
The Creative Strategy Manager works closely with members from our Digital Experience, Creative, and Program Marketing teams to produce deliverables that support our brand and go-to-market strategy. They have a strategic mindset, are an emerging leader for content, possess strong business insight, and a deep knowledge of the marketing landscape.
Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
- Lead the development of compelling content for a variety of marketing initiatives, including website pages, blog posts, guides, quizzes, emails, landing pages, and other marketing and sales collateral — while effectively applying our brand voice across different mediums
- Define our messaging and voice for different audience segments
- Manage and oversee both copywriting and design on a project-basis
- Partner with C-Staff, sales, engineering, and product teams to develop industry and vertical specific content
- Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings and project status check-ins, adhering to project SLAs and deadlines. Brainstorm and contribute to discussions on marketing campaigns and content needs
- Provide strategic recommendations and best practices on individual pieces of content and larger initiatives within the Marketing team
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant professional experience
- Experience working with Microsoft, either directly or through an agency
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills with ability to produce own materials (blog posts, whitepapers, emails etc.)
- Demonstrated experience developing content for audience segments across wide variety of channels and mediums (web, blogs, email, video, etc.)
- Expert-level knowledge of inbound marketing approaches, tactics, and processes and their impact on the business
- Highly organized and process-driven with the ability to manage a team, prioritize workloads and oversee multiple projects in a cross-functional work environment and amid shifting initiatives
- Ability to proactively drive collaboration with other departments
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with c-suite, to inform industry event talk-tracks and blog posts
- Effective, proactive communicator and comfortable presenting new ideas to leadership
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with consistent personal innovation in your work
- Strong desire to develop a team and capabilities within Marketing Team
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $96,000 or more depending on experience
