Job Description

Are you a witty wordsmith who knows an excellent social media caption? We are looking for a copywriter to join our growing social media team. Reporting to the Director of Social Media, you will write copy across several accounts in multiple industries, including FinTech, retail, hospitality, and more. You don't just write excellent copy; you know why it works. You know proper grammar and when to ignore it. You've already thought of ways to improve this job description.


  • Write social media copy across platforms that follow trends and best practices.
  • Express social-first copy ideas on-brand; on-message, and targeted to audiences
  • Present social media ideas to both the wider internal team and, occasionally, externally to clients with structure and parity
  • Comprehend and understand brand continuity, brand guidelines, and brand positioning on social media
  • Creatively help use technology and its applications to solve business problems.
  • Contribute work to social media and CXM pitches
  • Identify opportunities for creative work for clients, with guidance from seniors and directors.
  • Build creative concepts together with the Art Director at the Creative Director's direction.


  • 3+ years of web/marketing/social copywriting
  • Familiarity with social copywriting best practices
  • Experience writing for a specific brand (in-house, freelance, or agency)
  • MUST have a portfolio of social media copy, scripts, and storyboards examples

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $55,120 - $79,800. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
