About the Role:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the math of the marketing funnel, naturally spots opportunity areas and who has a proven track record of driving breakthrough growth at key conversion points. 

As a Conversation Rate Optimization Specialist, you will lead our efforts on optimizing the customer journey, starting with the first touch on the website and flowing through to conversion and activation. You will be responsible for mapping the customer journey (with data), then building and executing an experimentation framework, working side-by-side with demand gen, product marketing and design to optimize critical touch points. 

The goal of the Conversation Rate Optimization Specialist is to apply sharp, mathematical thinking with creativity and collaboration to convert data-focused developers into subscribers, signups, demo requests, community members and more.

What you'll do:

  • Work with the marketing team lead to actively measure and forecast the funnel based on current and past conversion rate performance 
  • Own customer journey and conversion rate reporting 
  • Build and execute an experimentation framework to drive conversion rate optimization at key points
  • Work with demand gen and design to optimize conversion for inbound and paid traffic 
  • Work with product marketing and design to optimize the middle of the funnel by identifying and converting intent signals 
  • Work with lifecycle marketing to optimize nurturing and activation flows

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Proven ability to build optimization strategies in B2B SaaS
  • Proven ability to execute testing frameworks to improve conversion rates across platforms, but especially on web 
  • 3-5 years of experience with conversion rate optimization, through either specific roles or digital marketing roles with an emphasis on optimization 
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, especially as it relates to statistics and testing 
  • Self-directed and work with minimal supervision
