Content Marketing Manager
Wacom is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to lead, coordinate and manage development of content across marketing touchpoints to drive awareness, consideration, and leads across our core and growth markets. This includes written and video content for B2C, B2B including case studies, blog posts, and landing pages. Put your project management skills to work coordinating the content calendar for the team while developing regular content in support of strategic objectives. Writing samples will be required as part of the interview process.
This position can be based in our Portland, OR, office, hybrid, or fully remote.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and manage content marketing strategy, as guided by the Marketing Director, based on quarterly and annual goals
- Own content calendar and bring together various marketing touchpoints for an aligned content focus, meeting needs of sales and marketing
- Freelancer/agency management
- Regular reporting and optimization of content
Skills you bring:
- 5 years content marketing experience, including SEO best-practices
- Highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions
- Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, PR or related subject or equivalent experience
- Understand and use business goals to create a content marketing strategy
- Working in a cross-matrixed environment amongst both marketing and sales colleagues, with differing priorities
- Strong writing and creative skills
- Current knowledge of SEO best practices
- Knowledge of WordPress
- Detail and deadline oriented
Experience with any of the following is highly desirable:
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic, global environment
- Experience with video capture and editing
- Ability to take initiative and accomplish tasks
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Excellent strategic, project management, partnership, and communications skills
