The Content Marketing Manager leads our content team and content strategy to improve brand awareness adn the velocity of leads for CQuence Health Group and its business units. The Content Manager positions our brands by orchestrating content strategies and thought leadership efforts from vision/ideation through execution and optimization.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

* Oversee team of content creators and align all content efforts to achieve business unit goals.

* Develop content marketing strategy, facilitate ongoing content planning, manage day-to-day content creation, editing and promotion, and report on the results of each content marketing initiative.

* Provide leadership for direct reports, including providing motivational encouragement and support, employee development and feedback, acting as a resource for answering questions, and promoting CQuence's philosophy of service excellence.

* Responsible for interviewing, hiring, assigning work, guiding and appraising performance of those supervised by the position.

* Schedule and manage content calendar, email marketing and campaigns to ensure the distribution of timely, appropriate campaign materials.

* Create and/or outsource content/thought leadership material using data and storytelling to drive lead generation campaigns and keep prospects engaged with our brands, services, and products.

* Guide the creative team to align design elements with copy elements to relay the value proprosition and brand story to external audiences.

*Assist the marketing managers and VP to develop marketing content and thought leadership strategies (value proposition messaging, brand content, etc.)

* Create a vision for video content, consult with creative team/freelancers for execution and distribute video across multiple media platforms.

* Lead SEO efforts and educate marketing team on SEO in content creation and its effectiveness on business. Boost web traffic by optimizing copy for SEO including ongoing keyword discovery and expansion. Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions.

* Source and interview internal and external subject matter experts for external-facing content, including blogs, case studies, white papers, trend reports, podcast episodes and other content as needs arise.

* Be the voice of executives adn author long-format content for PR, publishing and article placement; work with placement agencies when required.

* Interface and manage third party agencies and suppliers of web, public relations, and other content-oriented material to ensure alignment with CQuence and its business units' brand.

* Required to adhere to hospital credentialing requirements including but not limited to annual immunizations, drug screening, background checks, etc. as dictated by sited JCAHO policy.

* Remain drug free and abide by the Drug Free Workplace Policy.

Knowledge and Talents

* Servant leadership mentality and ability to guide team through change/growth.

* Proven management skills to help team pivot as needed and reprioritize amid high and evolving workloads.

* Knowledge of inbound and outbound marketing automation tools and technologies (HubSpot, Dynamics CRM, etc.)

* Advanced writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information into user-friendly concepts and content.

* Able to interface with multiple functions and various personnel including C-suite to frontline employees.

* Creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.

* Able to work independently at handling multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously.

* Excellent interpersonal oral, and written communcations skills.

* Able to work and contribute in a team environment.

* Experience managing social media brand pages - including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.

* Ability to research and interpret industry-related issues.

Education and Experience

* Undergraduate degree in business, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field required.

* Minimum of three years management experience required.

* Minimum of three years experience in healthcare marketing preferred.
