About the Job

We are looking for a Content Marketing Associate to join our team. This role will report to the Content Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will dive in with the rest of the team, make strategic recommendations, proactively identify areas for improvement, and be results-driven. Your job will focus on research and writing of engaging blog content, eBooks, case studies, social media posts, marketing emails, infographics, and other communications to help grow our top-of-funnel efforts. 

About You

You are an energetic, creative, and tech savvy person who loves marketing and is excited to be on the front line of a dynamic start-up company. You are interested in growing your content marketing skills. You possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to distill and write about technical, legal, and other nuanced subject matter. You are a team player and are capable of prioritizing and juggling several projects at once.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Produce engaging and informative blog content to support our inbound and account based marketing (ABM) motions
  • Research and write white papers, eBooks, industry reports, and other long-form content to align with our strategic initiatives
  • Follow industry-related news and contribute to content ideation around trending topics
  • Create visually informative pieces of content like infographics and how-to guides
  • Contribute to social media publishing and strategy to boost brand awareness and engage with your audience
  • Optimize content and web pages using SEO best practices, including keyword research and available data
  • Assess success of content channels, contribute to setting measurable goals, and make recommendations accordingly
  • Become an expert in 3Play Media's products, video accessibility, compliance, and SEO, and the industries we serve in a fast-growing market
  • Adopt the 3Play brand and voice to produce consistent content, messaging, and creative that aligns with our brand and mission

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing
  • Ability to learn, discuss, and write about technical content
  • Attention to detail
  • Interest in growing your marketing skills
  • Strong grasp of inbound marketing and SEO
  • Strong grasp of social media marketing
  • Ability to use imagery to help tell a story

Interest in or familiarity with any of the following are beneficial for the role: WordPress, HubSpot, Canva, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, SEMrush, email marketing, blogging, lead gen, graphic design, video editing/production, public speaking, and accessibility. Knowledge of, or desire to learn about, accessibility and join a mission-driven company and team.

We got our start in 2008 out of MIT Sloan and we are based in Boston, MA.
