About the Position:

Veda is seeking a talented Content Marketer to join our rapidly growing team. You will be an integral collaborator within the marketing department, crafting meaningful stories that raise the visibility and foster engagement of our brand. 

As we continue to grow at break-neck speed, the Content Marketer will oversee the story of Veda. You will spend the majority of your time cultivating message copy, writing longform content, overseeing content contributors, and learning and optimizing our message for continued conversion optimization. All with the goal of improving brand perception and broadening our reach. The ideal addition to our team will have proven knowledge of the complex nomenclature of healthcare B2B paired with the skill to relay technology innovations effectively to a non-technical audience.

Responsibilities:

• Content writing—short form copy (ex. Social, ads) and long form content (ex. blogs) 
• Build, oversee, and execute our content calendar and contributor pool
• Presentation, Speechwriting, and Award applications
• Oversee external content relationship (such as our PR agency and freelance writing teams) 

About You:

• You are a natural storyteller and savvy at bringing the audience along a narrative.
• You can easily identify the differences needed for short and long copy, and pride yourself on executing effectively 
• You are a skilled proofreader 
• You enjoy research, qualitative reporting and have a passion for cutting edge technology.
• You're a team player. You realize marketing cannot succeed in a vacuum and you thrive on being able to bounce ideas off others
• You have an affinity for high-level strategy and granular execution documentation
• You are a critical thinker that can quickly learn about and understand complex products
• You have a passion for the potential of AI to make positive & transformative change

Minimum Requirements:

• 3-5 years of success in copy/content writing and proven success of crafting meaningful messaging for B2B healthcare, technology, or similar field
• Excellent communication and proofreading skills 
• Comprehension of channel planning and customer journey mapping
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively
• Portfolio of past product marketing case studies that support the above responsibilities and requirements
• Deep understanding of advertising fundamentals, including positioning, branding and principles, and strategy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
