Communications Specialist, Senior
Key Role:

Support a fast-paced government client as a member of a thriving team. Provide a range of communications support, from strategic communications planning to execution, including planning for workforce brown bags, town halls, and other events, developing marketing campaigns for those events, and leading other client communications initiatives, including large-scale outreach campaigns to engage the workforce and drive acceptance of client policies. Draft and edit a variety of communications materials and products, including talking points, leadership communications, marketing copy, newsletter content, and website content. Work independently and contribute to the team in a collaborative, creative environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience with strategic communications
  • Experience with communications planning
  • Ability to work with senior leaders, respond to changing priorities, and adapt writing style to meet the needs of audiences at various levels
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with consulting, including government consulting
  • Experience with running large-scale marketing or change communications campaigns
  • Knowledge of content management systems, including Joomla and WordPress
  • Knowledge of client communications channels and vehicles
  • Ability to be professional and show enthusiasm for client and teammate collaboration
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing
  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
