WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?


Side leverages technology solutions to make the home buying/selling transaction process far more efficient and error-free than what exists on the market. But we’re far more than just a tech startup - we also operate as a fully licensed brokerage. Meaning we compete with the old-school, antiquated real estate brokerages you’re probably familiar with (like Century 21, Sotheby's, Keller Williams, etc) but in a very different way. We give agents their first chance to truly own their own business - which no other brokerage allows. In the past, if an agent wanted to open their own brokerage, they had to do this entirely unsupported and on their own, including getting their own brokerage license and hiring folks to run the backend of their business, so they can focus on selling real estate, or they had to write a huge check to franchise a brokerage (think $100K to start). We remove that headache and overhead by helping them launch their own brand and providing them a white label solution that runs that backend of the brokerage for them. Most importantly, we do all the heavy technical lifting to create a full-service platform by developing our own in-house tools and assessing and implementing market technologies that automate the transaction process, making our agents more efficient, so they can focus on what they do best.

You will establish and execute on the high-level marketing vision that positively impacts both our business and our Partners. You will help to maintain our customer-centric culture as we grow by establishing new and scalable processes within the organization. You will also foster growth within the team; developing current employees and hiring new talent.

Role and Responsibilities

  • The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for market positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, Guy Gal the CMO will: 

  • Lead all aspects of Side’s marketing initiatives, including demand generation (online and offline), brand, creative, product marketing, content marketing, communications/PR, events insights and analytics. 
  • Build a strong trusted relationship with the Sales team and leadership while contributing updates in sales pipeline meetings and supporting revenue-generating initiatives. 
  • Create strategies and campaigns, concepting, architecting and deploying omni channel campaigns focused on awareness and conversion to sales and audience engagement.
  • Lead the vision for marketing technology and how that will drive growth for the long term. 
  • Possess the presence and intellectual strength to influence and align internal partners. around marketing and go-to-market strategies in a product-led company. 
  • Establish both short-term results and long-term strategy. 
  • Lead, coach, develop and motivate a team of talented product managers and product designers. 
  • Build strong partnerships with leaders across the company to solve our toughest challenges and create seamless, cohesive experiences 
  • Recruit, hire, and retain exceptional talent 
  • Enable high-quality, timely execution in a fast-paced, iterative, fluid environment
  • Serve as a public face for the Side Marketing organization 

Professional Qualifications

  • 15+ years experience with SaaS companies with a widespread knowledge of the full marketing stack and in-depth knowledge of demand generation. 
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, building and managing a marketing organization with superior ability to recruit, retain, and motivate our existing team and future talent.
  • Experience partnering closely with sales leadership and an understanding of the connection between demand generation and revenue growth.
  • A demonstrated history of being a great teammate, and desire to jump in and get your hands dirty as needed.
  • Passionate about marketing, sales, business, teams and winning.
