Job Description Chase relies on digital marketing as a key strategic channel in driving acquisition, branding, and cross-sell opportunities to millions of customers across a suite of consumer banking products. The Marketing Systems Associate will manage all aspects of the email marketing campaign, including but not limited to requirement capture, management of the creative development process, email coding and setup in the platform, scripting dynamic content into an existing HTML file, segmentation of customer lists, QA testing, collaboration with agencies/vendors, measuring and reporting key metrics for email campaigns, and process adherence through the established workflow.
Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with line of business stakeholder's as well internal/external creative agencies to build and deploy email campaigns.
  • Working with those stakeholders, this role will assist in the gathering of requirements, providing input on the path forward, and develop and execute against those final requirements. You will build out the email campaigns from start to finish in the deployment platforms.
  • Troubleshoot rendering issues with the HTML when the campaign moves into the build phase - identify issues and work towards a resolution.
  • Adhere to and promote our existing quality strong controls.
  • Share the responsibility of performing QC on the team's work in a timely fashion.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for digital marketing (with a strong focus on email marketing).
  • Conduct day-to-day activities with other departments and business counterparts within Marketing, List Management and other stakeholder groups to execute and implement email campaigns.
  • Pull campaign reporting, analyze performance and make creative or strategic optimization recommendations to Marketing.


Qualifications:

  • 4 year college degree, preferably in Marketing, Information Systems, Communications or related-field
  • Minimum 3+ years of email marketing experience, including knowledge of HTML and CSS - experience creating HTML emails is preferred.
  • Must have prior knowledge of digital marketing channels, with specific experience creating and managing email campaigns.
  • Basic understanding of PHP and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with both QA and QC in a digital / development environment.
  • Knowledge of email best practices is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills - previous experience generating campaign metrics is preferred.
  • High energy with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and to perform under pressure within tight deadlines
  • Creativity and innovation focus with an eye on constant, measured improvement
  • Proven ability to take initiative, influence others, and achieve results in a matrix organization
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
