Job Description Performance Marketing is responsible for leading channel innovation, enablement, execution and investment optimization of marketing initiatives across Chase on behalf of our businesses.
We are seeking to expand our team with a talented, data-driven marketer focused on driving maximum return on our email channel investments. You must be customer obsessed, a pro at using data to create meaningful insights, take extreme ownership of outcome, and relentlessly drive value for our customers and the firm.
You will responsible for end-to-end email campaign management to drive innovation in the channel and optimize new and existing campaigns across all lines of business. You will determine how to scale existing capabilities, research new capabilities to test, coordinate cross channel experiences and assist with revamping our email preference center.
Core Responsibilities
The Email Channel Strategy & Innovation Associate manages a robust book of work that include acquisition, servicing and engagement emails across multiple lines business.
Strategy & Innovation:

  • Scale existing technology and capabilities across all lines of business to drive engaging email campaigns
  • Research and evaluate new technology and/or vendors that will drive value for the email program and coordinate proofs of concept
  • Evaluate current email preference center, develop and prioritize opportunities and assist with project plan and management to revamp email preference center
  • Work with the lines of business to improve email performance maximizing successful outcomes while at the same time minimizing customer opt out
  • Storytelling and communication to senior audiences on results or progress of book of work
  • Prioritize and manage in a way that uses resources effectively
  • Is decisive; communicates findings, issues and proposed solutions to business executives


Project Management:

  • Project manage the development of new email capabilities with existing partners and/or vendors across all lines of business
  • Maintain detailed project tracker including all deliverables to ensure projects are completed in full and on time
  • Coordinate email optimization process to ensure email campaigns are performing to stated internal benchmarks
  • Drive a cross functional team drawing on specialized resources when needed (such as IT, legal, compliance, etc.)
  • Manage and validate the output of related specialized groups, and influence work plan to ensure they align to desired business results
  • Ensure audit, compliance, legal and other firm controls are followed and installed on each project and relevant activity


Qualifications

  • Bachelors with 3+ years' experience in a related discipline
  • Marketing experience, with an expertise in digital conversion strategies and innovation, within email, mobile or web channels a plus
  • High energy, solutions oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, working well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Strong relationship development and negotiating skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
