About the Position

The Campaign Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy, development, implementation, measurement and optimisation of regional campaigns. They collaborate with key marketing, product, and sales partners to deliver fully integrated prospect and customer journeys at all marketing touch points, both online and offline, including in-product. They are adept at managing multiple programs simultaneously and have a proven track record of executing integrated lead generation campaigns that drive demand, acquire new business, increase product adoption, and amplify brand awareness. This role includes a mix of outbound (generating demand by targeting new prospects, warming them up with top-of-funnel programs, and distributing lists to SDRs to engage with active contacts), as well as inbound tactics and analytics. Our ideal candidate is a creative marketing professional with experience in account-based marketing, with the desire to create campaigns that captivate prospects throughout their buyer's journey. With excellent project management skills, they work well with content and design colleagues to integrate sufficient timelines and feedback loops into campaign plans. They also thrive in a team environment, while being a resourceful, independent and self-starter who can work effectively with minimal direction.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the strategy, development and optimisation of integrated campaigns that focus on the most important markets and personas designed to generate leads for Whispir sales teams
  • Work with creative, content, and regional marketing colleagues to define campaign concepts and elements to deliver full funnel, multi-channel campaigns
  • Develop a deep understanding of Whispir solutions, use cases and customer evidence, and become an expert in marketing performance and optimisation across all marketing engines and programs
  • Optimize campaigns to generate demand and product adoption across a wide range of audience segments
  • Dive deeply into campaign data to gain visibility into results, measure campaign effectiveness, and drive agile decision-making to optimise campaigns in real time
  • Deliver clear, consistent and frequent communication with stakeholder teams to outline strategy, tactics, goals and performance for campaigns
  • Test, measure and optimise programs and tactics continuously to achieve and exceed goals
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
  • Apply knowledge of demand-generating channels to recommend a successful approach and an sufficient marketing channel mix to achieve campaign objectives
  • Create compelling presentation materials to communicate the strategy and create cross-divisional and leadership visibility into the marketing plan
  • Stay on the pulse of the market and broader industry trends, bring fresh ideas to better connect with our audience, and stay up to date with the latest marketing best practices
  • Own all aspects of campaign execution, including targeting, list development, marketing automation and CRM setup, campaign presentation development, launch communications, etc.
  • Measure the impact of your campaigns by tracking, measuring, monitoring and sharing the impact of each initiative
  • Monitor MQL to SQL performance and obtain sales feedback on what worked and didn’t to make tactical recommendations
  • Management of the marketing contact database and segmentation strategy to ensure data quality
  • Document processes and communicate improvements to increase the overall effectiveness of the marketing team
  • Additional assignments as required


Skills & Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, and MBA is a plus
  • Strong track record of success leading marketing campaigns with 5+ years experience in a high growth B2B business, preferably SaaS
  • Experience operating with targets, lead generation, and funnel conversion from MQL to billed customers
  • Analytical and data driven with the proven ability to measure performance and connect insights to inform decisions and make conversion recommendations
  • Experience using various software applications, including Salesforce, with strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Experience with Martech platforms and CRM, preferably HubSpot and Salesforce, as well as reporting tools like Google Analytics, Salesforce, and Tableau
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns in a collaborative team environment
  • Self-driven with an unwavering attention to detail and deadlines
