Please review the following job description:

Lead a team, including agency partners, responsible for developing and executing brand, advertising, creative and media strategies against business goals. Develop, promote, and maintain the Truist brand and image both internally and externally. Design, develop and execute advertising campaigns and marketing communications to strengthen Truist brand and image. Establish and manage effective partnerships with external and internal partners in the business and functions. Execute overall brand strategy, architecture, training, tools, and governance. Translate insights into a strategic point of view to ground a team around way forward. Infuse brand insights into the development of a superior creative strategy that is both unique and compelling.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead a team of professional-level marketers.
2. Lead large offsite creative productions.
3. Manage deliverables against expected results and budgets.
4. Make sound judgments about brand and creative approach to deliver on objectives.
5. Have a solid understanding of how the team contributes to the achievement of broader objectives in alignment with organization's purpose, mission and values.
6. Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges.
7. Lead highly complex and visible projects with notable risk and complexity.
8. Manage agency relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Bachelor's degree in communications, advertising, marketing or related field, or equivalent education and related training
2. Ten years or more related brand and advertising experience
3. Demonstrated contribution to marketing strategy development to solve complex problems
4. Experience managing large annual budgets
5. Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes
6. Ability to lead large projects of significant complexity and notable risk exposure
7. Ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective
8. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills to senior level management

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Creative Agency experience
2. Experience in Media buying
3. Understanding of market research and insights, experience in creative development research and testing
4. Experience in the Financial Services Industry
5. Experience with large well-known brands

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
Visual / Audio / Speaking
Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.
Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding
Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.
Availability
Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
