Pearson's Workforce Skills division offers the tools and insights to enable enterprises to build, maintain and develop the workforce of the future. TheB2B Marketing Managerwill be accountable for Pearson's Workforce Skills division's marketing campaign planning, execution and analysis to most effectively grow awareness and adoption of its GEDWorks and Accelerated Pathways products and meet business objectives. Crucial to the role is the ability to strategize on effective demand generation efforts, execute and optimize campaign tactics and work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure campaigns achieve defined KPIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales growth, customer retention and profitability of Pearson's Workforce Skills U.S. business by facilitating strategic planning and execution of marketing programs across multiple channels, including SEO, social, paid, email, and events.
  • Execute marketing strategies that support the entire sales pipeline including inbound, outbound, nurture and retention campaigns.
  • Think creatively and develop the content plan that will position Pearson's Workforce Skills business as the go-to partner and thought leader to employers and health plans.
  • Partner with sales team to ensure campaign alignment and effective execution.
  • Develop short and long-term plans for demand generation, customer needs assessment, sales forecasting, and customer and sales history analysis.
  • Collaborate on and oversee creation of effective sales collateral, sales enablement tools and activities.
  • Provide regular status reports and post-campaign analysis with insightful observations about opportunities to refine and recalibrate existing and future tactics.
  • Set and monitor KPIs by channel and market segment. Continually optimize campaigns and channels to reach and exceed business goals and revenue opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategies into deliverables
  • 5+ years B2B marketing experience
  • Experience managing and optimizing marketing campaigns; be ready to share specific examples of how you drove results for the business
  • Accustomed to working with data and comfortable with analytics programs
  • Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills and ability to partner with internal sales teams
  • Powerful interpersonal skills and ability to use these to influence outcomes by communicating with persuasiveness and candor with an engaging and energetic personality
  • Experience working with Salesforce and Pardot or other marketing automation software
  • A go-getter and doer who can take ownership of driving the company's B2B efforts
  • Ability to plan, manage, prioritize and successfully complete multiple complex projects simultaneously and within budget, while measuring progress
  • Ability to apply creative thinking and imagination to campaign development, planning and execution as well as an unrelenting focus on the target audience
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, remain positive and calm
