The CarGurus B2B Marketing team is looking for an enthusiastic Co-op to help support direct marketing efforts to automotive dealers! We are responsible for influencing sales revenue through a variety of channels including email, social media, events, and more. We balance creativity with analysis to bring thoughtful and impactful campaigns to market for our customer and target audience – car dealers.
The B2B Marketing team has sub-teams, all of which you will have the opportunity to learn from. We have multiple co-op opportunities available across these sub-teams, including Field Marketing, Brand and Enablement, Global Campaigns and Lifecycle, and Email Marketing. Potential projects include:
- Building, testing, and analyzing the success of our email marketing programs, which is our largest communication channel
- Supporting the marketing team with maintenance and development of campaigns promoting annual award program (Top Rated Dealer), such as email, direct mail, and social media
- Supporting and contributing to major initiatives including planning our annual user conference, promoting regional events, and coordinating some of the auto industry’s conferences and tradeshows
- Managing communications with Sales team on leads activity and swag requests
- Researching and reporting on industry trends and competitor news
- Updating marketing collateral and reports within content library
- Building social media campaigns on LinkedIn and Facebook for our US and Canada markets
- Coordinating and submitting design requests for third party ads and events
This is a full-time, paid, Spring 2022 Co-op position. Only students currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program will be considered. Must be eligible to work 40 hours a week from January 2022 - June 2022.
Who You Are:
- Sophomore, Junior, or Senior from an accredited college, with a good academic standing
- A curious and collaborative team-player
- Self-starter who loves checking that next item off their to-do list
- A+ attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple marketing priorities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Analytically oriented and comfortable using data to solve problems.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to deliver results.
- Previous marketing experience is a plus
