In line with Citi's commitment to operate with integrity, maintain strong ethical standards and adhere to applicable regulatory and legal requirements, this position primarily supports the end-to-end management and delivery of the Privacy and Language Practices notices to the Cards population of approximately 40 million. Both communications span across multiple channels - statements, email, online, direct mail and special print (Braille, Large Print) and are executed with a staggered frequency throughout the year. This position will also support project management needs across US Consumer Bank - ensuring that customer communications are executed flawlessly to meet business goals.

The Marketing Operations analyst will successfully deliver the Privacy Notice and In-Language Customer Service (ILCS) communication to all eligible Branded cardmembers annually, maintaining adequate evidence of delivery. As business needs arise, the Marketing Operations analyst may also support special projects and marketing communication campaigns.

  • Appropriately assess compliance risk in making execution decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations and applying sound ethical judgment regarding business practices.
  • Identify and escalate compliance risk inherent in particular situations, products, or transactions. The impact of these risks on any part of the Citi organization should be adequately escalated, identified, assessed, monitored, controlled, and reported as applicable.
  • Work with Legal, Compliance and Citi Privacy managers to obtain updates as needed annually or off-cycle as Control, Fair Lending or Regulation requires.
  • Execute updates to and delivery of these documents in multiple channels including statements, card carrier inserts, email, online, solo direct mail, braille/large print, and printed retail delivery.
  • Work with various Citi departments such as Accounts Receivable (AR) and email execution to maintain and update processes.
  • Maintain detailed, timely tracking evidence to ensure all eligible accounts are notified and all regulatory and Citi requirements are met.
  • Maintain the Privacy and ILCS procedure manual.
  • Manage the annual Privacy and ILCS budget, ongoing forecasts and invoices.
  • Support manager as the subject matter expert on Privacy and ILCS execution including being the interface for any audits and working with execution groups to ensure the notification follows the regulatory and Citi requirements and answering questions and advising as needed.
  • Vendor interface for several processes including ADA compliance and Braille/Large print execution.
  • Systems interface working with Citi systems such as OPPM (Technology requests), Statement Marketing, and Vendor/Contract management.
  • Manage special projects and marketing communication campaigns by leading internal teams, tracking progress, raising/escalating issues, removing roadblocks, and reporting on status.



  • 5-8 years' experience; experience in Controls function a plus.
  • Undergraduate Degree required.
  • Highly proficient in all MS Office programs, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • High level of accountability.
  • Strong attention to detail including data auditing skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity, logical thinking and the ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries. Ability to build strong networks and relationships across Citi.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Thinks operationally and strategically; analyzes issues, uses sound judgment, generates new ideas; goes beyond the status quo.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines on multiple projects/tasks at once.
  • Self-starter - ability to work independently as well as in a group setting.
