Job Description:

Roles Summary/Purpose:

The Marketing Integration Manager (MIM), a part of the Synchrony Financial Performance Marketing Group, executes and delivers project management services supporting the plastic, statement, Digital and letter channels for Retail Card, Payment Solutions, Care Credit and Consumer Banking businesses. The MIM represents all performance marketing teams and partners with all Synchrony Marketing teams to own and deliver Marketing readiness for NCI and NBD projects.

This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manage the execution and delivery of new business/products by managing across all Performance Marketing teams to understand milestones and ensure quality and readiness for the project.
  • Manage the effective and seamless execution of reissues, upgrades, other enterprise wide credit card initiatives, and billing statements architecture requests as requested by the business.
  • Define and gather requirements and timeline while focusing on quality and timely delivery; organize and lead project working meetings; prepare and communicate project progress and issues; manage risks and issues logs and other required documentation. Perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
  • Develop and implement new processes, technology and related infrastructure to support client and Synchrony Financial requirements.
  • Provide consultative input to Client Teams and internal process owners on best practices for the Performance Marketing channels.
  • Identify and implement quality improvement, process simplicity, innovation and redesign efforts to meet evolving client, business and compliance requirements.
  • Design and maintain process maps and playbooks to improve speed to market, process simplicity, compliance requirements and profitable growth.
  • Keep abreast of credit card industry standards and any related legislation to streamline the process of credit card issuance.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

  • Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree high school diploma/GED and 8 plus years of Credit, Debit Card or ATM Project Management experience.
  • 4 years of Project Management experience working directly with First Data, TSYS, Fiserv FIS processing platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a functional workstream or cross functional team for delivery of a conversion or new client start up in credit card industry.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).

Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience with First Data DecisionQuest®, PCF and PEP processes, SCS customer communications platform.
  • Knowledge of credit card operations and marketing processes.
  • Collaborative style and approach with comfort working in a matrixed organization.
  • Outstanding communication, relationship building, influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view
  • 4 years of experience leading cross functional project teams.
  • 4 years of experience in developing and maintaining client and cross functional partner relationships.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Proven ability to partner and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum certification a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate and simplify complex ideas to stakeholders.
  • High energy, enthusiastic and self-motivated.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).

The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
