Overview

The Associate Marketing Program Manager conducts research, provides analysis, helps to develop marketing programs for small and medium sized contractor businesses, and is responsible for growing Rain Bird's Livestream training business. Typical responsibilities include researching and analyzing data looking for trends and opportunities, creating marketing programs, working with Rain Bird distributors to improve the accuracy and speed of reporting, and improving the reporting of Contractor Rewards data. Responsibilities in the for-profit training business requires this individual to work across all Rain Bird businesses, both domestically and globally. The following are critical competencies for this role: Initiative/Drive, Communication, Problem Solving/Decision Making, Planning and Organizing, Adaptability / Change Management, Leadership Influence. Candidates should be entrepreneurially minded and able to 'own' their work to grow sales and market share.

Responsibilities

  1. Support the Contractor Rewards program and Training Services - researching, analysis and reporting
  2. Develop and implement targeted marketing programs
  3. Help develop and implement nation-wide programs for small / medium sized contractors
  4. Support contractor programs and initiatives as assigned
  5. Grow Rain Bird's for-profit Livestream training globally
  6. Help to take Rain Bird's for-profit training brand global



Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Able to "own" projects and see them through to completion
  • Knowledge, skills, ability and other qualities that will qualify the candidate for promotion
  • Driven, assertive, global perspective and results-oriented
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Aptitude for quantitative analysis, strategic and tactical thinking, and detailed planning.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills.
  • Entrepreneurial - self-motivated, team player, enthusiastic and creative.



DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • On-line training development, course development or learning management experience
  • Services management experience
  • Experience developing and managing teams
  • Knowledge of and experience in the "green industry"
  • Master's Degree
