Our Biosurgery Platform is delivering a growing line of enhanced sealants and hemostats to complement surgical techniques across surgical specialties.
The Associate Marketing Manager will work closely with the platforms Sr. Global Marketing Managers as well as the internal functional team members to drive Biosurgery growth. This position is responsible for supporting the US Biosurgery "Protect & Grow" strategy and will be responsible for managing portions of the portfolio with a focus on downstream activities. Emphasis is on product and marketing management, primarily developing strategies for profitable growth and maintaining a strong competitive position through strategic and tactical identification of marketing opportunities. Will work in partnership with other businesses and cross functional teams to assure that growth objectives are achieved.
Roles and responsibilities associated with this position include:
- Assist in establishing strategic and tactical go-to-market/campaign plans, including product-level positioning and messaging to be used by sales and marketing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support execution of the US region strategy for the Biosurgery Platform.
- Develop clinical expertise in Biosurgery products and relevant surgical specialties.
- Build relationships with the surgical specialties sales force, key opinions leaders, customers, and other hospital stakeholders.
- Assist in the generation of short and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data
- Help with the development of, collateral, guides, and tutorials as needed
- Actively encourage and support a positive culture within the Biosurgery Platform.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years in a corporate environment, medical device or relevant experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of marketing (brand or product management) or sales experience required
- Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills
- Exceptional organizational and creative skills
- Self-starter and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- High integrity and ethics
- Ability to travel (up to 20%)- domestic and international
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Aspires to future leadership roles in Marketing
