OPEN TO REMOTE US LOCATION

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Associate Manager, Brand Programs will work closely with the rest of the JUUL Global Marketing Team (Brand, Creative, Insights, CRM, e-comm, etc.) and cross-functional partners (Trade Marketing, Sales, Legal, Finance, etc.) to help design and execute all forms of consumer-facing marketing programming for JUUL globally (U.S., Canada, UK and any new emerging marketing opportunities). The Associate Manager will help to develop the global and market specific marketing strategy, and then build, execute and measure specific marketing tactics to deliver against that strategy.   

  • Work with the Brand Programs team to develop highly targeted marketing activation plans that reflect the overarching vision and goals for the JUUL brand globally, and within specific markets. Activation plans could include, but are not limited to: Direct Mail and e-mail, brand intercepts, coupon programs, age-gated activations, etc. 
  • Work with the Brand Programs team to build and execute highly targeted media/advertising campaigns in applicable markets (print/digital/cinema/OOH/etc.)
  • Support the design and execution of targeted retailer/partnership activation programs such as consumer loyalty programs, clerk incentive programs, chain incentive programs, and customized retailer media/technology programs 
  • Set success criteria, build forecast models, track metrics for all relevant marketing programs, and share best practices globally across markets
  • Work with the Global Brand and Creative teams to leverage global brand equity, positioning, assets, guidelines, and best practices to create optimized consumer facing assets to support brand programs
  • Work with the Brand Programs team to develop and execute a full year retail marketing calendar 
  • ​Successfully manage direct marketing, shopper and media agency relationships to ensure that retail advertising and promotional initiatives are breakthrough, cost-effective, drive ROI and are consistent with the company’s overall strategy
  • Work with Brand Programs team to develop new breakthrough “test and learn” programs and concepts to drive trial of JUUL among age verified +21 smokers
  • Work cross-functionally with Consumer Insights to identify and implement market research initiatives that will better inform marketing tactics
  • Enhance our storytelling ability by bringing our brand and values to life - including through content, communications, and engagement initiatives
  • Identify and assess marketing programs of key competitive products/brand. and infuse learnings to optimize JUUL’s brand programs 
  • Plan and manage the Brand Programs budget

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CPG brand management or C-Store retail experience 
  • Experience with digital and Trade/Retail Marketing
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Project Management
  • Budget Management
  • Highly entrepreneurial with strong leadership skills
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast paced environment
  • Intrinsic ability to get to the heart of consumer issues and win by anticipating their wants and needs 
  • Strategic mindset and intellectually curious  
  • DNA: creative, self-starter, collaborative, resilient, driven, accountable 
  • 2+ Years of experience working in cpg or consumables
  • Experience owning projects from concept to execution
  • Experience working cross-functionally, being a catalyst for lines of communication

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience
  • MBA a plus, but not required
