Associate Manager, Ad Partnerships

The Disney Ad Sales (DAS) Ad Partnerships team is responsible for evaluating and optimizing partnerships, policies, revenue models and workflow to enhance the premium ad experience and fuel strategic initiatives across The Walt Disney Company.

Responsibilities :
The Associate Manager, Ad Partnerships will play a key role in supporting the near and long-term growth of Disney advertising revenue across brands and platforms. This individual's work will inform partnership development, deal negotiations, and executive decision making. They will report to the Manager, Ad Partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Support major content distribution partnerships (d/MVPD, device, ad-supported streaming):
- Conduct analyses on partner relationships to inform negotiations.
- Evaluate and make recommendations for optimal Ad Sales terms.
- Identify and prepare organization for potential ad sales implications of partnership developments.
- Monitor and assess partner capabilities and new developments.
- Help steer DAS's Ad Policy for emerging and evolving ad categories:
- Monitor emerging categories and market trends to inform current and future ad policies.
- Collaborate with partners across Ad Sales to identify opportunities for more clarity, consistency, and growth.
- Support rollout of new revenue-driving capabilities.
- Ensure that training and workflow supports adherence to ad policies.
- Establish relationships and collaborate across TWDC (Platform Distribution, Legal, Forecasting, Revenue & Yield Management, Finance and Ad Platforms) to ensure DAS priorities are carried out and maximized across all endpoints.
- Act as a resource for colleagues on areas of expertise, including providing marketplace, partnership insights and policy-related recommendations
Basic Qualifications :
- 2+ years in media, with experience in digital ad ops or account management. 3+ years experience preferred
- Experience supporting negotiations or reading contracts is a plus
- Practical understanding of the ad sales and media distribution landscape
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for emerging media and technology
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work across a variety of cross-functional group of stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex information
- Experience solving complex problems based on analysis of multiple sources of information
- The ability to work independently on a variety of tasks
- A flexible team member who is willing to jump in as needed
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point or Keynote
