At Lilly, we unite caring with discovery to make life better for people around the world. We are a global healthcare leader headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our 35,000 employees around the world work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them, improve the understanding and management of disease, and give back to our communities through philanthropy and volunteerism. We give our best effort to our work, and we put people first. We're looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.

People with migraine and cluster headache journey in and out of relentless cycles of pain and disruption to their life. Even though we may not recognize it, each of us most likely knows someone living with migraine as it affects approximately 1 billion people across the globe. Until 2018, the migraine market had not seen significant innovation in more than two decades. However, between 2018 and 2022, a number of new products for acute and prevention treatment have and/or will enter the market. Lilly is positioned to lead with Emgality and REYVOW.

Emgality (galcanezumab) is a monoclonal antibody that selectively binds to calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) and was approved by the FDA in September 2018 for the preventive treatment of migraine in adults and in June 2019 for the treatment of episodic cluster headache in adults. Emgality was also approved in Europe in November 2018 for the prophylaxis of migraine in adults who have at least four migraine days per month. Most major markets have launched the migraine prevention indication giving patients more good days, and chance for a richer life. As the NBRx CGRP antibody leader in the US market and an incredibly strong 2021 launch in Japan, Emgality is well positioned to become the global mAb market leader in a competitive marketplace giving people a chance of migraine freedom.

REYVOW (lasmiditan) is an oral treatment that binds to 5-HT1F receptors with high affinity and is approved by the FDA for the acute treatment of migraine, with or without aura, in adults. The Q1 2020 US launch and the upcoming OUS approvals (specifically Japan) are significant as REYVOW represents one of the first new classes of acute migraine treatments to enter the market in more than two decades. While REYVOW's ability to deliver efficacy (pain freedom; fast and complete elimination of pain) is at the center of the brand's value proposition, it is critical that we connect across customer groups to quickly drive confidence and experience in the face of aggressive competition.
