WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As our Sports Marketing Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for centrally leading all aspects of the tactical end to end operations serving our geo's athletes and assets, ensuring contractual commitments are met and product intended for sports marketing use is purchased in full and delivered on time. Having exceptional communication and organizational skills, and the ability to handle competing priorities will be critical to success.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, you'll handle day to day operations from sales order creation through product delivery, and identify standard methodologies and opportunities for continual process improvements. In addition to maintaining orderbook health and supporting the rollout of tools and processes, you'll publish reports and provide analysis to influence business decisions and proactively bring up risks, manage adhoc product requests, and process export orders. Working closely with the extended APLA SM Ops team, you'll identify issues affecting SM demand planning, order management, and delivery of promo product; and you'll partner with SM territory teams to ensure issues are understood and resolved. You'll collaborate with Merchandising, Product, and Catalyst teams to understand seasonal priorities and confirm the orderbook is aligned to strategy. Your work will enable strategic and informed product buys, decreased orderbook volatility, and proactive issue resolution; resulting in the right product, at the right place, at the right time.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You'll report to the Director of APLA Sports Marketing Operations, and you'll work alongside a central APLA Sports Marketing Ops team to support territory sports marketing ops leads and reps. Collaboration with Global Sports Marketing, GSA, PTL, Merch, and Catalyst teams is critical to success.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • 2+ years of experience in Sports Marketing, MPO, Merchandising, or Product experience preferred
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and MMX
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and resourcefully
  • Capable of communicating effectively with people from different cultures and/or backgrounds.
