About the Role:

We develop product messaging and positioning, go-to-market programs, campaigns, events, and sales enablement. The Salesforce AppExchange is the leading enterprise cloud marketplace and most successful ecosystem of tried-and-true apps and certified consultants that extend the Salesforce Customer 360, and help customers on their digital transformation journey. We connect our customers to our partner ecosystem to find, try, and buy ready-to-install apps and consultant services for every department, any industry. For our partners, we deliver access to our technology and access to our customers through our go to market strategies based on 20+ years of cloud experience.

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager with a data-centric mindset to develop messaging and execute innovative campaigns for AppExchange. We want a versatile Salesforce Product Marketer with experience in: developing both strong positioning and compelling messaging, collaborating with product and other cross-functional teams, and creating high impact campaign content to fuel customer-facing campaigns. The right candidate is a self-starter who drives action and results; is comfortable flexing between strategy and execution; and demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and drive the execution of innovative campaigns to highlight customer stories and product innovation to drive customer site traffic and installs, across AppExchange.com, display, SEM, and other relevant channels.
  • Develop messaging and positioning for all customer-facing content and collateral including the AppExchange website, videos, webinars, blogs, eBooks and more.
  • Partner with AppExchange Product team to optimize AppExchange.com and to help move customers through the purchase funnel from consideration to purchase to advocacy.
  • Work closely with our AppExchange Content & Community Marketing team to develop the content strategy for campaigns, and identify, enable, and champion AppExchange customers and evangelists.
  • Collaborate with our Paid Media and AppExchange Program Marketing (AMP) teams, as well as other teams across Salesforce, to build assets and campaigns that achieve joint KPIs and deliver strategic communications, videos, web content, and other resources that drive traffic and installs on AppExchange.
  • Represent the AppExchange in meetings with internal stakeholders, partners, and customers and at Salesforce events such as Dreamforce and World Tours.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing at Salesforce, a high tech company, or similar. MBA a plus, but not required.
  • Experience crafting compelling brand and product positioning
  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.
  • Hands-on capability to create a range of marketing assets, including e-books, webinars, and succinct slide pitch-decks.
  • Strong skills in communication, presenting, writing and ability to work well cross-functionally
  • Established ability to successfully define and drive projects with minimal guidance
  • Proven track record of speaking in front of internal, external, and global audiences.
