Position Summary:

The Kaspien Amazon Advertising Specialist is expected to discover and implement effective advertising strategies across different ad types for several retail and agency partners in their portfolio. These strategies range from improving our partners' marketplace brand presence, their share of voice, cost per click, AcoS, topline revenue, and more. This position supports the overall direction of the team by helping develop new strategies, executing priorities, managing partner expectations, and constantly looking for new advertising optimization opportunities. The Amazon Advertising Specialist is expected to be well versed in all advertising opportunities offered by Amazon including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brand, Sponsored Display advertising as well as newer streaming/OTT advertising. This position is also responsible for understanding all promotional capabilities through Deal of the Day, Lightning Deals, Coupons, and Prime Exclusive discount offers. It is critical this role has the ability to clearly communicate the capabilities of these innovative advertising options and make recommendations to other departments and outward-facing partners. The Amazon Advertising Specialist works closely with the Amazon Advertising team lead to execute strategies and ensure their personal efforts are in line with larger department and company goals.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create ad campaigns and bid optimization strategies to meet the objectives of each partner
  • Manage 12-15 top tier brands for Kaspien's Retail and Agency divisions
  • Execute the company's strategic vision for active and potential partners
  • Analyze campaign performance data to create custom optimization processes
  • Create growth avenues to hit revenue targets and efficiency goals
  • Help expand the value proposition of Kaspien's marketing channels
  • Explore new lines of revenue through search marketing for partners
  • Contribute to the professional development of the Digital Advertising Team



Requirements

Knowledge, Education, and Experience:

  • 2+ years of Amazon paid search management
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience, preferred



Required Skills:

  • Solid Excel knowledge
  • Experience working within Amazon, Walmart, Target, or other online marketplaces
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong partner presentation skills
  • Superior organizational and time awareness skills
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Self-starter, able to set and meet deadlines
  • Hard-working, honest, fun human being
  • Google Analytics Certified preferred
  • Experience with bid automation software (Pacvue, Helium10, or equivalent) preferred



Work Environment:

Fast-paced, deadline-oriented office environment; currently remote through COVID-19.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to regularly talk, hear, see and operate a computer, keyboard, and mouse
  • Occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 15 pounds
