As an Advertising Advisor you will:

  • Assist with the daily management and execution of Chevron's corporate and local advertising campaigns and communications.
  • Oversee planning and execution of paid media for TV, print, radio, social, search, newsletters, podcasts, etc.
  • Develop creative and/or paid media briefs and supports strategic message development, creative content development, production activities, brand and competitive paid media tracking, measurement and reporting.
  • Track approvals, legal review and substantiation of advertising claims, and media-production estimates, budgets and timelines.
  • Manage agency partners across multiple agencies and disciplines.
  • Provide consultation to key internal business partners and local lines of business on advertising communications and opportunities best suited for their stakeholder engagement needs.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years' direct advertising and marketing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into creative and media briefs.
  • Experience in providing guidance to agency partners to develop and execute creative concepts and content (i.e., TV, print, radio, social, digital, OOH).
  • Proven experience with and knowledge of paid media channels and planning (omni-channel marketing, audience targeting, content placement, reporting-metrics, campaign optimization).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and track integrated plans, deliverables and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget quality delivery of campaigns.
  • Experience with tools to support content ideation, collaboration and measurement (e.g., Sprinklr, Opal, Domo, native platform insights), as well as conducting research, brand tracking studies, social listening and sentiment analysis (via Brandwatch, Sysomos, Crimson-Hexagon, third-party tracking studies, etc.).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Communications, PR, Marketing, or related degree
  • Strong project management skills
  • Digital curiosity and a desire for continuous learning about emerging media and marketing opportunities
  • Advertising agency experience or B2B/corporate advertising on the "client side"; ability to navigate a large, matrixed organization
